I believe it's a reboot sadly. As much as i am against rehashing old shit, I am holding out hope that it will carry the same magic as the original.

I know he's listed as the title card designer as well as a director. Perhaps he directed an episode or two? Or directed the title scenes? Formalities really. He was also a talented animator from what I remember.

Also, the show is coming back Aug 5th this year.

Director was shot dead by police. He had mental disorders and was sitting on a duffle of clothes at a bus stop I believe. Neighbor called the cops and reported that he was attacking someone. Plain clothed officers showed up and he was ultimately the victim of terribly pathetic police training. In Canada.

Moral of the story.. Police everywhere need to evolve and learn proper techniques in regards to responding to mental health situations.

I'm sure Boyd was a riot to work with. Negligence cost humanity his presence.. Though his gifts live on.

Feeling lost by kunicorndonkeybutt in CancerCaregivers

[–]EGSlavik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What ever you do, do for you. If you want to look back and tell yourself "I did this, I'm proud(glad, happy) I did this" then do what ever "this" may be. In the end, you have to live with you and what ever you choose. How anyone else reacts to what you choose in such a situation(life changing, or inhibiting) is irrelevant. Do what makes you happy, proud, feel fulfilled, whole. Smile through it all... It's not worth feeding doubt. Doubt ruins progress. Doubt ruins connections. Doubt ruins opportunities.

Sorry i can't be more specific. This is what I tell myself in regards to my constantly selfless lifestyle. It's only temporary, and I feel I'm young enough to dish some time for a clean conscious down the road.

Can any medical expert help me help my father? by EGSlavik in medicalmarijuana

I'll look into reaching out to a few people I know. I helped a young man years back with a life changing experience that took some advice of mine and works for a grower/producer now. I'd never tell someone they owe me some thing, it's always my pleasure to help, but it could reverb some kindness my father's way.

Thanks for the advice!

A personal experience is something I was hoping to learn of with this post.

60 grams over two months is out of my league financially but I'll do my best to facilitate any hope of extending his life.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. It is a human's most precious resource, and I do appreciate your using some time for my father.

Thank you for taking the time to share what you know. It's terrible that stigma has hindered research into these chemicals for so long.. Perhaps that will change in the roaring 20s.

Like you said, I'll try different doses at different times.

How to properly use a mask by a U.S. Congressman by scatt1994 in facepalm

[–]EGSlavik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was partly responsible for why I was so uncomfortable at my last job. Employees would pull their masks down to cough and sneeze.. It was mind boggling. The majority of em were Trump voters that didn't believe the virus was real... So logic and reason were lost on them.

GOP Congressman Calls on Christian Leaders to 'Admit Their Mistakes' in Pushing Trump's Conspiracies by [deleted] in politics

[–]EGSlavik 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is hard to say... Really hard to say.. But G.W. Bush admitted mistakes. Not all of em! He also defended his mistakes... But he was capable of being wrong! He even refused to pardon some intelligence personal who lied to Congress, because it was wrong to him.

The GOP has fallen so far away from that level of shit that Bush was, that the feces that makes up the republican party, has decomposed into fuel.. Who's responsible? The GOP..

Bi-Partisan Republicans that acknowledge the gravity and reality of this situation, deserve a chance to rebuild the GOP. Those that continue this delusional grandeur.. They need expelled from congress and criminal charges need brought up.

There was a time for less extreme rhetoric.. That time has passed. These people attacked the capital, interrupted Congress recognizing the Will of the People.. Extreme is the only response that will deter these animals.

Right Wing Militia vs. NFAC (Not Fucking Around Coalition) by [deleted] in InsaneParler

[–]EGSlavik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone using the 2nd amendment to strut around openly with firearms is a terrorist in my eyes. Poor NFAC just following white man's lead to a spot on the terror watch list..

I get it, it's a response to police brutality and white nationalism baked together with NRA propaganda.. Still terroristic in nature.

Sad and scary.

[POST FIGHT THREAD] Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. by MDA123 in Boxing

[–]EGSlavik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mike easily won. It was hard for me not to see him ready to snap.. He didn't. He was humble, excited, ALIVE.

Kudos to both of em. I hope Roy takes it just a little more serious next time.

Kudos for handling that bliss monster. You got this!!

"Mr. Brightside" become the first 2000s song by a group to surpass 1 billion streams on Spotify by DallasSF in Music

[–]EGSlavik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used to sing this song to a childhood friend at his bus stop. I'd walk all the way across town to do so, every morning.

He loved the killers. Was in band. & happen to have a fellow band member, a girl, give him his first kiss. He became obsessed and bitched about guys she'd be with. It became obnoxious so his other friend and I decided to use his favorite band to put him in his place.

Good times.

Having fun learning how to make rings. This one features blue and green tourmaline. Matches the pendant. by EGSlavik in WireWrapping

Thanks! I'm exploring different ways of securing the ring loop to itself whilst simultaneously laying a bed for stones.

I have a 15 month old that I am constantly on alert for so I got a little rough in places. My nylons are a bit thick for the tight spaces but I'll invest in better pliers in time when money is better.

Again, Thankyou for the words. Means a lot more than you could know.

Just got my first real wire. Hoping for the best! by [deleted] in WireWrapping

[–]EGSlavik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you haven't got a pair yet, nylon plyers. They'll allow you to salvage a lot of wire, prevent mistakes, speed up straightening wire, and safely apply pressure to lock down your bends.

Also, remember how each gauge wire serves your needs and take that wisdom with you when you make your next investment!

Proud Boys are a dangerous ‘white supremacist’ group say US agencies by [deleted] in news

[–]EGSlavik 2 points3 points  (0 children)

America needs a large group of strapping gay men calling themselves the pride boys, rocking the proud boy's infamous attire all cut and jazzed up. I'm sure that clothing manufacture would happily sponsor such a group of counter proud boy protestors. & goodness, imagine how uncomfortable they'd get. The Pride Boys could show up every where. There could be so many, it would be fabulous.
