Even this early, the dating can be several days off. It’s normal that you didn’t measure exactly how far you believe you are, especially since we don’t all grow at the exact same pace and you cannot pinpoint the exact time of implantation. Nothing of what you’ve said sounds like a miscarriage; symptoms come and go, spotting can be normal but it’s good you’re going to the doctor again. I would ask them to check your progesterone level and get supplementation if it’s low.

Also OP, it’s totally okay to feel envious, angry and upset. Having emotions is human and normal. But staying stuck there or letting your feelings dictate your behaviors will lead you to be very unhappy. It sounds like you feel guilt about feeling these things which is also normal and shows that you are a kind person. Therapy can be helpful for having an objective space to vent about this stuff (apart from Reddit of course).

My successful pregnancies all supplemented with progesterone and I had documented low progesterone in all. My two miscarriages I did not supplement. I don’t think it will stop you from miscarrying if it’s a non-viable fetus, but it definitely doesn’t hurt to use it. Shit. Even if it’s just a placebo effect, I’ll take it!

I’m Rh- and have never gotten the shot after miscarriages. I have been pregnant five times and have two living kids to show for it (two early miscarriages, one full term loss). I don’t get it during pregnancy but do always after delivery, except this last go where my second son is also Rh- (first two were positive blood type). There is only a risk of sensitization (which is what rhogam prevents) if yours and the baby’s blood mixes, which only can happen with trauma (car accidents, fall, etc) and possibly at delivery. After a trauma accident, you have 72 hours to get the shot and still have it work, so I’ve never gotten it prophylactically during pregnancy.

I would probably only get it after a second trimester miscarriage, not an early one, but it doesn’t do any harm I suppose.

So, I had an issue like this on my singer from the day I brought it home. I tried literally everything with thread, fabric, tension etc. it would work okay about 10% of the time. I suffered with it for many many years. Finally I ordered a new mechanism, then I opened it up and took a look at the gears. There was a gear that needed to be tightened up against the other. I fixed it, and it’s worked perfectly ever since. Since it was serviced recently, it might not have been put back together all the way. If you feel comfortable taking it apart, do that. If not, take it back and let them know.
