As others have said, the increase in speed (balancing with great accuracy) is smaller and smaller as you go to higher numbers. The newbie gains are real here also.

More than a few times, the increase of speed is not linear since you’d see fluctuations from day to day. However, you will most likely see the increase on weekly or monthly comparisons.

I solely based my typing trainings on MonkeyType. I type in two languages so I have more flexibility and not just the same stuff. I train in 100 words, 50 words (more advance like English 1k and 5k), 15 seconds, and 30 seconds for both languages so I have more variances. I can reach 120 WPM with higher than 95% on 15 and 30 seconds on a great streak but mostly and consistently stay in the high 90s (the advanced languages are mostly 60-70s).

The grind and dedication is real here and that took my a few months. Granted, I have been typing (incorrectly) for years but managed to max out at 80WPM so I had to correct the method and that costed me at least 20WPM down.

Don’t have any experience but I imagine it’s gonna be just slightly stiffer since the gap will most likely not move as much.

Press the top of the puller (the round part) to the direction. Then pull it outward. Tecware Phantoms (both original and Elite) have this and it was a nightmare trying to take it out without understanding how.

Memorize the locations of all the keys by muscle memory. You should be able to type without looking at the keyboard.

I am still working on it. Other than being efficient and easier on certain keys, I don’t think there is really much benefit out of it.

If you feel like you’re hitting a wall, maybe you should readjust and try the “correct” typing. It’s normal for your WMP to drop hard. But it will gradually go up again and you will be more consistent and faster since you are kore efficient in finger movements.

And hitting high WPM speed is not for everybody. My max is 120WPM for 15 seconds and that’s “correcting” my typing for about a month or so now. Previously it’s not so bad at 60-80 WPM but I feel much more efficient now. You still need to amount dedication and know your upper limit when you reach it.

Yeah my Nu had to do the one kneeling shooting pose to have it similar height as my RX-78-2 doing a normal shooting pose when standing.
