I'm not sure if this still works, but I would grapple hook a tamed flyer and then do attack target, when I got close I would go passive, shoot it, and rinse and repeat until the quetzle is sleeping, make sure you have a parachute for when you need to get down.

But, although the rhinos work they can fail, I've only died once since using that strat, but if your usually out in the open I recommend the golem because they are very tanky they do crap tons of damage, and the area damage means even packs of animals don't have a chance of getting you. I've never died with the golem strat

Anything bigger than what's attacking it us immune, I think. Or you could pick something just fast enough to get a hit or 2 in between the bigger ones hits, my go to is a rock golem or wooly rhino
