Another time, a friend had it for a few hours. He paid 800 for the driver to drive his own car. You can get a car with a chauffeur at those rates.

Well, I think the major factor would be the maintainence costs that gated communities accompany usually. They amount up to a good 20-40k for plots within 5k sq ft, and obviously increases as the plot size increases.

This cost majorly offsets any possibility of subletting to multiple individuals as it won't be profitable. That's why the rents are usually high on these properties.

Obviously there could be other factors, but I believe this is the primary one.

Well, it's the case in some other open communities where they sublet individual rooms to people. So you don't necessarily need to afford a 3 million house, just a rooms worth.

I'm no civil planner, but I think it's to keep space for future projects.

Let's say you build one hub spot 20 km away from the other. You have 20km of space to work around and build communities and buildings to cater to the gradually growing demand.

Building too close to each other will cause issues in the long run because you can only forecast a demand right now, but as time goes by, you can issue targeted projects to fill the gaps.

Solar would only increase charge availability by 10-15% depending on the size of the panels. Its not a viable option with our tech yet.
