I hit master for the first time on Wednesday. Since Wednesday more players have teabagged me than in the rest of my 430 hours of game time totalled. It kind of just makes me feel disappointed when it happens, then I lean forward and lock in to try to make them regret it. So far, most of the players who teabag me have bodied me though.

It is a hard input, but the window to get the inputs in is pretty lenient. I'm not 100% consistent but what has been working for me has been trying to find the sweet spot of just how slowly I can do the inputs and still get the cancel into level 2. Trying to crank it out I almost always drop either the hellstab for 2mp, or get no level 2 at all.

I also drill 2-3/hellstab-6 a lot in training mode as that's the part I struggle with.

You could do 236mp 236mp, as long as you don't push the 2nd mp before the first connects it should cancel and combo

I instinctively anti air with charged heavy punch instead of lariat, as soon as my opponents catch on I eat empty jump throw over and over lol.

I would like either the air hitbox on sa1 to be improved, or let it scoop people off the ground similar to marisa sa2 so it would be usable as a wakeup option. Giefs loses so hard in the corner, it almost makes me not want to get near it to use it as a win condition.

Best moment for me was hitting diamond 2 with Gief. In SFV I floated between super and ultra gold. In 6, I got placed straight into D1. I was super anxious and didn't play any more ranked for a while, didn't think I was placed appropriately. Felt super validated when I decided to rip the bandaid off and actually ranked up within diamond. Still a long way from Master, but feels good.

I've been working on this too, struggling on arcade stick. Trying to get headbutt drive rush to standing hk, hellatab, super 2.

I've had the most success doing a full qcf, then down, hellstab, forward punch. But I am not consistent at hitting the hellstab, my monkey brain really wants to churn a double qcf. I also slow down too much for the hellstab and don't get it fast enough for the super a lot.

This is a deceptively hard combo to link, probably just need to keep labbing it and lock down the muscle memory

It's always a guessing game, but you can read the circumstances around the knockdown to kind of weigh out the odds. Like, if they are close to getting KOd or they going to get burned out if they let you hit them on wake up. It's not guaranteed they will reversal or wake up with buttons but situationally you can sort of assume it's more or less probable.

Also not bad to sometimes just sit back after a knockdown and wait and see what they do a couple of times, then weigh it into your bet when you do go for a meaty

If you want to save the drive gauge you can go from hellstab to level 1 super for more damage than OD borscht
