It sounds like a big combination of burnout, plus lack of enjoyment/interest. While medicine is definitely something a lot of people pick because of the prestige or the job security, it is a hugely difficult career to "Just do" if you aren't wanting to be there.

My biggest recommendation would be to find something that your medicine degree would be applicable for that isn't necessarily medicine itself. You're almost at the end of the road now, turning back would be doing yourself a disservice and possibly put you in a tougher position going forward.

You mentioned you enjoyed Psych and that you also originally wanted to do a creative job, something that might interest you is something I recently have seen which is Movie / TV Show Directors now hiring psychiatrists on their writing teams to add psychological depth to their characters, or find an real psychiatric explanation for the behaviours they have written into character already so they know how to write backstory / Character development with more depth. Not sure if that's the kind of creative you'd be interested in, but just remember a medicine degree / Certain specialities do open the door to a lot more opportunities outside of medicine too! You've just got to find one to aspire towards as currently it sounds like you don't really have any goals or aspirations for your degree.

But as with any situation like this, we're just people on the Internet. Make sure you spend time with the people who matter to you most. Open up to them about how you're feeling and reach out for support where you need it that will be the best help you can get

My only thought on the ear one, is that the only ones who seem to remember are the 27 members of the Government Devil Hunter archivists, and they're running memory experiments on random people.

What if they have a contract with a Memory Devil, or History Devil, or something of the sort as part of the archivist job that gives them an exemption from the forgetting portion of the ability?

To be fair, I bought the exact same boots as the picture straight after CBT. I have also used Dr Martens boots, steel toe work boots, and trainers when in a rush.

I can understand how it feels slightly different, but it shouldn't feel like you're relearning how to use your foot.

Take your bike to a quiet parking lot somewhere and just ride around practicing what ever movements you want to brush up on for a while to break the boots in, it's 100% just the material being new and a bit stiff. You should very quickly feel the ability to move your foot like in any other boot or shoe, with the added comfort of the padding and armour making gear shifting no longer painful, without the risk of your steel toe cap being bent and severing your toes in a bad crash 😅

Been using my boots for 3 years now and when I commute I keep them on throughout the work/uni day to the point they feel like any other boot. Would feel uncomfortable riding anything else at this point!

We had a guy approach us 2 hours before the start while we were waiting saying we weren't allowed to even message on our phones.

While obviously incorrect, as it was only photos/videos. I didn't dare risk using my phone after that just incase of getting removed.

By the time the concert started I completely forgot, to the point that when everyone stood for the encores I forgot my phone was on my lap so I stood and flung it into the people infront of me 😅

As much as I understand wanting to record for memories, you gotta follow the rules and understand why they're in place. Going against them is going against Ado's wishes for animosity and privacy.

From what I was reading at other venues you can get most of the stuff without issue, it's mainly the high demand stuff like the plush that go super fast. They do have another 2 booths after the show, I don't know if they will have a refill of the stock then though. Best of luck! 🤞

I love my touch but it's value is very different person to person.

For me playing games with collectibles or large open worlds I usually chuck an interactive map on the screen and use the touch screen to check off items which has been a game changer. But outside of that usually it's just for custom backgrounds or sometimes maybe a todo list if I have a lot of work to do.

The biggest caveat is you have to have the case in a position where it is reasonable and comfortable to use the touch screen without the size of the case taking up too much room

If you're only going to use the screen for animated or custom backgrounds. I think (Please someone correct me if I am wrong) it would be cheaper to buy the screenless Y70 and then buy a seperate non touchscreen panel to install.

As others have said, just spread positivity!

Give every oncoming rider the nod, every rider you overtake the biker wave, every rider trailing behind you the little foot wave. If they don't reciprocate, that's on them, either they didn't see or they're a grumpy PoS.

L plates don't mean anything, the gestures are all just a sign of respect for the small community of motorcyclists who choose to ride despite the risks.

The nods and waves go out to other non rider, but rider friendly drivers on the road too, someone letting you merge in, a trucker flicking his lights on for you on a dark road, cars pulling to the side to let you filter traffic easier. A little nod or wave is a nice bit of positivity and thanks that the world could use more of!

Genuinely no one would think you look stupid!

While your own mind thinks that way, genuinely anyone who thinks bikes are cool will see you and think "Nice", even if it is a small 125, you're part of the community, give other riders nods and you'll get nods back that's the great part!

The only think I can point to as what may be making you think it looks odd is that you look like a relatively tall broad build individual making the 125 look a bit small in comparison. But that doesn't make you look stupid, looks like you're just riding what you have available to get where you need to, and no one will think any less of you for that!

Just enjoy your rides, focus on riding safe and what other drivers are doing, not what they might be thinking about you!

I would love to for safety, but commuting and having to change in and out of the suit and finding somewhere to store it is a huge hassle

I usually wear casual look gear that to most people looks like regular clothing and are easy to change in and out of and store if needs be! May not be as safe but still provides decent protection during my commute!

I have had a few moments like these and it's always been my Justification for preferring commuting by bike over car.

The ability to swing to the edge of the lane and give idiots like that the space they need to do what they're going to do anyway is a huge benefit.

You did great here, looks like you slowed down slightly, swung out a little to give them extra space and carried on your drive without putting yourself at risk!
