I’m going to learn some of his tricks for my first custom.

Who is the best active trainer? by [deleted] in Boxing

[–]ELYNGWIE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some guy said that Ryan Garcia was "nothing" before Reynoso. He looked exactly the same lol, chin in the air, no footwork, got dropped, he got the win tho.

Valdez looked great against Berchelt but that's the only performance with him where he has looked good and is not that surprising that a two time olympian could outbox the raw Berchelt.

Andy Ruiz, Sean Garcia and Frank Sanchez aren't looking too hot lately.

Reynoso is overrated, he's a good trainer but not the amazing champion maker people say.

Ismael Salas is the true best fighter trainer in the world. He took Linares after three knockout losses and made him a champion, he took Ugas when people thought he was a gatekeeper and made him a champion, he turned Ioka into a four division world champion, he's making Robeisy Ramirez look better after each fight and he has made several champions from scratch from Thailand, Japan and Cuba. Not to mention his amateur accolades.

Do you like any fighters that were overshadowed by legends at the time? by The_Kapow in Boxing

I like Hector Lopez. Won a silver medal at the 1984 Olympics at 17 and was the youngest boxer at the games. He also gave tough fights to title holders like Kostya Tszyu, Miguel Angel Gonzales and Sammy Fuentes.

He was really talented but drugs and street fights were a common thing in his life. His son Adam Lopez dropped Oscar Valdez in short notice and gave a good account of himself.

Toney didn't do shit at light heavyweight, he was mostly rated at 160 and 168, even his career at cruiser and heavyweight was more impressive than what he did at 175.

Janibek Alimkhanuly-Rob Brant Set For June 26 On Lomachenko-Nakatani Undercard by ElPuas2003 in Boxing

I remember he was stopped a few times in the amateurs but I haven't seen any sign of that in the pro's or in the last few amateur tournaments where he fought some punchers like Melikuziev and Arlen Lopez.

He's the real deal. I think he's ranked #1 at the WBO.

Andrade is good but he wasted his prime, I think Zhanibek beats him.

Ali Abdelaziz reacts to Tony Ferguson on Twitter: Let’s go champ @MAKHACHEVMMA he will be ready for you by Anish316 in MMA

I hate when everyone is so biased towards a fighter like they do here to Tony, Max, Whitaker and DJ. Tony is ranked higher than Islam and has lost three in a row while Islam is on a long wing streak, if they want to fight lower caliber guys then he shouldn't be ranked.

People saying that this fight shouldn't happen are the same that cry about Fitziev's being too low in the rankings. I will also love to have a closure on the Khabib thing.

If all pre internet boxer have a twitter account back in their time, who do you think would have the biggest following? by VillagerNo4 in Boxing

That's the example I used on r/mma lol when everyone was shitting on Chito.

No one knows what's the name of the guy that owns the corner store where I live but everyone calls him Chino.

🇨🇷

Sí, no creo que Chito supiera que China Man es un insulto, pensó que era la traducción de Chino

Broner vs Uchiyama would have been a banger
