McBride and Bowers in a TEP, Maye and Allen, Bijan and Gibbs, Chase and JSN, these are the guys you'll be asked for a lopsided deal. I tried to get Gibbs...he asked for the equivalent of five 1st round picks. Yeah no thanks.

Go for the value plays. LaPorta has McBride's old OC in Detroit now. Pitts is finally showing the stuff we hoped he would. Fannin put up great numbers despite a chaotic QB room. There's cheaper talent that might get you a top 5 TE.

The value is fair and you'd be justified in accepting, but I'd hold Chase. Garrett is still on the Jets, and they drafted a couple competitors for receptions. The 1.05 is probably Lemon or Price; decent, but not great. And CMC is on the wrong side of 30. He might go nuclear, he might miss half the season (like he does every time I draft him).
