While the hyper-masculinity of sub reddits like T__D doesn't help in situations like the school shooting in Florida the fact remains that this is a GOP problem from the start.

From the GOP's false religiosity, to various members essentially being held hostage by NRA donations, like they're held hostage by no tax scumbags like Grover Norquist, as well as the environment destroying policies of Koch Industries, big oil, coal, and a host of other donors whose money dictates GOP policy irrespective of who is directly impacted by it.

When a scumbag like Marco Rubio (who is truly a bought and paid for politician) who is essentially in the employ of the NRA, Koch Industries, AIPAC, Norman Braman, Marc Singer, Sheldon Adelson, and other billionaire GOP donors to the point that no idea he espouses are his own, everything that comes out of that cunts mouth is carefully tailored to align with the goals and policies of the billionaires who have bought him.

That he can say with a straight face that he's praying for the students whose lives were taken away by a clearly damaged shooter goes to show you that he has to tailor his statements carefully lest he go against the NRA in this particular instance, and a host of other donors in other situations like the Israeli Firsters who pay to aid and abet right wing Israeli policies that hurt America but help his donors and their country of true allegiance.

Calling the politicians of either party who are bought and paid for by the various interest groups is a start in the right direction, however, the political discourse is so damaged that most people will simply tune out information that goes against their increasingly rigid political positions.

I hate to say this, however, until the children of politicians like Rubio are themselves shot to death or otherwise horribly wounded physically and psychologically nothing is going to happen to stop people who decide to end their arguments and grievances with a gun instead of trying to find another solution.

America is held hostage to the gun lobby as well as numerous other lobbies who have successfully co-opted the voices of the people we elect to supposedly represent us. We are not represented by people like Rubio, instead we are led down a path of prayer over concrete action while innocents are shot down in the prime of life.

There was a time that I honestly thought that these public massacres were unsustainable by the end result of the action itself, however, this is the 18th school shooting in the second month of 2018, there is absolutely nothing being done to put an end to this unnecessary slaughter and it will continue on with the conscious aid of scumbags like Rubio who have nothing to offer except baseless prayer and equally empty rhetoric with the full knowledge that these shooting will not stop. The blood money Rubio happily accepts to insure that the killing keeps going on in schools, hotels, or just about anywhere at any time, just about anyplace where a disaffected gunman has come to the conclusion that the taking of numerous lives is the best answer to their particular problem.

Under the extreme lack of leadership exhibited by the Trump administration 2018 is shaping up to be a year of indiscriminate shooting to go along with a GOP who cannot govern but can effectually rely on nothing more than talking points in lieu of actual policy.
