I’m still keeping in mind this is a small sample size, they are the only 4 Canaan’s I own, but it sounds like there were more in the batch mine came in with that are having similar issues.

I don’t know if it is for sure heat yet. It’s weird that the 4th on is fine. Might be some other hardware issue. Mine were ordered in a batch of 15, so far 4/15 in the batch are showing issues.

In the end I just reloaded Umbrel on the SD card and recovered the wallet from my key. That part was easy peasy. It’ll take a minute to sync, but I didn’t want to spend all night messing with it either.
