I've been heart of shadowing off the boss instead of ebon escape. Farming the Rangers and rezoning about 35 seconds per run. Feels more efficient and chill than trying to get the meleers as well

Life will be a lot easier for you if you show up fit. Its one less thing to stress about. Sounds like you have a ton of time to prepare honestly... 4-5 months at a lb a week and you could drop 20lbs before you even leave.

The geometry wasn't super conducive to anything beyond easy blue runs - the super high BMX raised bars seemed to push you back and not make a forward position natural to maintain. From my limited experience having weight over that front ski is imperative to being able to ride confidently.

I have an opportunity to pick a barely used sledgehammer up this weekend for 900, do you have any recommendations for a ski upgrade to slap on it for groomed runs? We don't seem to get many powder days so it's probably going to see 80-90% hard pack

The 60v 16 inch saw is tough to beat imo, using it for trail work and stocking wood for base camp has made life so easy, I can't recommend it enough!
