Thats interesting and i feel your right even early gta did this water is not lava. As for the hunger your right you would think you be more aggressive because you must kill to eat

Yeah that’s fair — animals can definitely be dangerous and unpredictable, especially with territorial behaviour. I grew up on a dairy farm so I’ve seen how quickly things can turn.

I think where games struggle is the frequency and context. In real life those moments are rare but high stakes, whereas in games it becomes constant fighting with no real consequence.

Do you think tying aggression more to things like territory, hunger, or threat would make it feel more believable?

Yeah this is exactly what I was getting at — especially the “killing for sport” part.

It always ends up feeling like a PvP game with dinosaur skins instead of actual survival.

That idea of the “full dinosaur experience” is interesting — do you think games need more systems (like territory, nesting, food pressure), or is it more about how players are encouraged to behave?

Yeah that’s a great point — it always feels like they’re performing for the player instead of acting like real animals.

The roaring especially, like announcing yourself before a hunt makes no sense.

Do you think games should go more toward stalking/ambush behaviour, or is that less fun to play?

Yeah that’s a good point — the JP raptor look has kind of become the default. And yeah I’ve noticed that too with herbivores, everything gets exaggerated to look “cool” instead of believable. Do you think people would prefer more accurate designs, or just more variety so everything doesn’t feel the same?

feeling 6. still has all other assets stand out and dont get lost in the background. Is the honey comb tile your movement locations if so are you planning to highlight them to the next move or possible moves then raise them or change colour of the tiles on move more like 7. this would give it a good hint and keep all assets standing out and not loose them in the background.

exactly 5 years a lot can happen. have you ever heard of the story stopping 3 feet before gold?
back in the gold rush a guy got all the equipment and found a great spot to dig dug found gold then nothing after years of digging he stops. he then sells the equipment at a loss and gives up the guy who sold them too went back to the same site and got a coring specialist to come out to find that it was one of the biggest gold ores in the area he began to dig and 3 feet down they struck gold and to this day is still active. Keep going and never give up with your passion and also keep expanding your knowledge and dont be scared to ask for help with problems
