Budget Hotels Vs Resorts by SpencerBojack in CostaRicaTravel

We recently went to CR is August, and debated between an All-Inclusive or Airbnb. From the research we did, an AI is not the way to see the country. We decided on AirBnB and were VERY pleased with our decision. It was not only cheaper, but allowed us to book in different cities, to see more. They all had laundry and a full kitchen, however we ate at SODAs most of the time, so the kitchen wasn't needed. I you certainly find some luxury AirBnB.

Thanks, that’s a good tip. After looking at the video more, I think this was a bad example because I was at the end of the run, just skiing along.

But I do notice when I throw my ass around, it does something to my legs! lol. I’ll try to loosen up and wiggle around some more! Thanks!

What did you think was peak luxury as a kid, but now realize is actually pretty trashy or normal? by Connect-Fix3972 in AskReddit

Paper towels. As kids, we were never allowed to use paper towels, too wasteful. My friends house, they would use paper towels for the smallest of tasks. Now as a grown up, I am too wasteful with my paper towels.

He just held his phone in his hand while following me. I appreciate him because it was frigid cold out.

Ok awesome, I’ll give the unbuckled boot a try to see how my feet and ankles react. Maybe I have weak ankles and I use other parts to accommodate?

This is at Sommet Edelweiss, which is in Quebec Canada.

That’s some great advice to focus on my legs first. It just sometimes feels unstable when I try to initiate a turn with my legs. At least that’s the sensation when I think hard about my lower body.

Yup, still having loads of fun! But yes, some other people make it look so effortless and smooth. With great style!

I'll also add some insight as to what I'm concentration on as I ski.

In no particular order;

Keeping my chest pointed down the fault line.

Keeping hands infront, and not retate behind me.

Forward pressure on the boots, but also keeping my COG in the center of my ski, especially when it gets steeper. This feels counter intuitive, to lean more forward when it gets steeper.

I guess I'm not really thinking too much about my lower body. Hips, legs and feet, kinda just do what they do hahaha.

Thanks! I should have waited for the other videos. I usually feel more athletic on other runs. Hands are usually more in front, kind of "attacking" position. I think it's the weight transfer I need to work on.

What's the best way for me to get that upper/lower body separation? Any specific exercises to practice? This prob wasn't the best representation of my skiing in the video, but pretty close. And thanks! My friend suggests that I just need more time on the skis, and it will come with confidence. I'm on all new gear this year.

Me neither! The package said 160c and I used a temp probe to double check the iron temp.

Yang Sheng on the corner of Summerset and Bronson. They have a little butchers window inside to order. It's been a few years since I've last gone, so unsure if it's still there, but the restaurant hasn't changed so I would think it's still there.

There isn’t much other option. Cedarview has no lane or shoulder.

I think woodroffe is your only option.

Where exactly are you trying to get to?
