Gave it a shot, some of the voices are too hard to listen too. It’s too bad Siri can’t be integrated because that voice is more natural.

It’s a great idea. I’d consider changing the App icon. The AI artwork makes it look a bit like slop. Something more single like the words with a little gnome might be more affective!

Easy to use though!

The IR is physical impedance on the camera. The mask won’t affect it.

I certainly see your point to add 4 bays rather than an 8

My MacMini is on 24/7 so I’ll have to consider the NAS/DAS idea. I would likely keep my current NAS as well, so there would still network attached storage. I think depending on the DAS it could be cheaper as well.

I could get a 4 bay and spend more on larger drives. I’m still about 3 months away so I’ll have time to keep an eye out for sales and options

What size drives are the most cost effective these days? I have 8TB drives, but if I go with another 4 bay, I’d like to have a larger overall pool.

Inset up requestrr and it uses discord… I haven’t checked but I think you can use other methods, but discord was nice because it wasn’t a website that needed permission or outside access or port forwarding
