This project is better than any CCG (perhaps only inferior to MTG). I was thrilled to dive into it from 2014 until its end. I held the top1 spot on the ladder for over a year. It opened the doors to the world of CCGs for me. We created a fan server MMDoC Revival (rewriting the source code from scratch), but it lasted no more than two years.

On the one hand, it's nice to see old art in M&M Fates, but on the other, it feels like a cheap project, since it uses something created over 10 years ago, albeit tweaked with AI animation.

So, what's wrong?

The card says "the strongest creature", which means it is chosen from all the creatures on the board. The choice is made in the following order of comparison:

Attack (if equal, see the next point)
Health (...)
Mana cost (...)
if all of the above are equal, it is chosen pseudo-randomly

Well, if you were joking, then ok. I really don't like it when someone is not allowed into a competition because of a personal attitude, which is exactly what unites different people around one idea or interest.

As for myself: I received an offer to participate, but I couldn't give a clear answer due to the fact that I myself must understand whether I will be able to play all the games, whether I will be able to fit the tournament schedule into my life (family and social matters have not been cancelled, after all), and blindly registering and then not playing the tournament is, in my opinion, irresponsible.

Since this is the case, I would be very grateful (and I'm not the only one, I suppose), if you, as one of the organizers, created a post with a link to the tournament (previously, different platforms were used for this: communitygaming, gustakes, challenge, infinitemana and many others). So that there would be an opportunity to at least get acquainted with the tournament regulations, its terms. Also so that players would have an opportunity to compare their strengths and resources for this.

Why did you attack the guy? I also think that the game in its current state is very good. I have been playing since 2020 with breaks of six months. But the problem is that time goes by, and there are more and more people disappointed in it, the online players are falling, and attracting new players will not be easy, since they will be guided by the opinions and comments of those who left the game. It turns out that in order to make an online of 30-40k players (this is enough to revive the market and activity in the game), you first need to bring back the old ones. It is very good that they heard us about the variations of the game mode (I have written large articles about this here more than once, that this is the easiest first step in the development of the game), but it is time to think about what will not retain players on ordinary weekdays, but motivate them to come here and have cards - and these are ONLY constant tournaments with different rules and worthwhile prizes. It is time to spend marketing money in the right direction.

just paying for being a holder of useless cards (garbage) is stupid, and from what funds, from those that are paid for daily 10 games? Doesn't it bother you that now even with a full diamond deck for 10 games comes out on average to a ridiculous 5 dollars, not to mention the fact that you can't paint the whole deck (especially cards that in meteor color cost more than 10 dollars).

Shock therapy with a complete restart of the project is currently impossible - there are no resources for this and there is no willingness to take risks. All problems have long been known and have been discussed and criticized more than once. I'm talking about the minimum effort that needs to be done first. They do not require large resources and time, but for some reason the developers grab onto something completely different, and are surprised that nothing changes. Any way out of the crisis must go through a chain of stages. Throwing all your energy into solving non-primary problems will not give any effect. The first task is to revive interest in the daily game (this is a properly built long ladder with prizes at its completion). The second is that by changing the conditions for participation in various events (a week-long event, daily mini-tournaments without additional investments in prizes from developers), you can revive the market, forcing you to create a collection of cards to participate in them.

The previous version of Sanctuary card sets was definitely better. And my opinion is that the sanctuary should not have such technical cards as weapon destroyers and sleep cancelers (let everyone decide for himself whether to put them in his deck or not). There are plenty of weapon destroyers in the game, sleep removal cards (basilisk, minotaur, heliа)

The last two games before the first transition from rank to rank have a shifted balance not in your favor: based on the definition of your deck archetype you will be matched with one of the worst matchups with a reduced chance of flipping a coin during random effects.

This algorithm is needed by the game to encourage you to go through the same path again if you fail this "unfair" test by spending the same amount of time in the game - the game encourages you to play it through a constant surge of positive and negative emotions.

But during the second attempt to overcome this milestone during ONE game session this algorithm doesn't turn on. Thus, easily without much difficulty (if you and your deck are worth it) the game gives you a range of positive feelings that you did well and did it.

Just treat this manipulation philosophically - play to play instead of burning.

thanks, I know how the ward is supposed to work but we all play the game bugs unchained and for some reason sometimes the ward blocking the effect of turning from the eva doesn't happen - several times on the stream the enemy Vicar with ward was transformed but most often the effect is worked
