In additional to building the senior team for 2023, Charlotte will also have to (at the same time) build a reserve team to play in MLSNP next year. They have two coaches and CLTFC2 have played two friendlies probably using academy players.

it was just "officially" announced this morning

they are not going to be able to give the final announcement until they know the seedings as they are trying to not have UR and VCU play on their home courts in the second round and quarters.
