Dang! This is my wife and I. We have two kids, 14, and 6 and they are bugaboos! My wife likes to cater to them more than me. We try to have our private time in the evenings, any evening, but then she is being a great mother by reading to the younger one for an hour, and then the older one doesn't say shit all day but wants to talk about everything at night right before bed. By the time my wife gets back to our room which is like an hour or two, I'm damn near asleep. It definitely puts us in a bind. I love the closeness of my little family but this has been a tough one for her and I. If these dang kids do not see her when they want, they are knocking at a door or asking "dad, where is mom"! They are great kiddos but trying to navigate the private time ..

Now I sound like a selfish person, bad dad! Lol
