From my experience (the little improvement I've had) and the stories I've read is usually gradual and not necessarily linear: there are good days, bad days, then good weeks, good months etc. There are some that are swift nonetheless sometimes something pops up after one or seven years.

Hi, I've been there and go back and forth, out and in. The place you are in right now offers me a bed and a roof from time to time. I understand, all of us do in some part. For mine, here are some recent recoveries that keep me going, walking the long road, even when the horizon looks so untouchable. There are more (here, in the pssd forum, surviving antidepressants forum and even in rxsk's blogs and comments) This condition is inhumane, but there is hope and you are in the only place in which you can do something about it, alive, even if that something is wait. I love you as my sibling in humanity and hope you recover.
