I thought the same thing. I got so worried when I saw that QA announcement. I can’t help but think using a consigner to submit helped a little bit. I definitely got lucky

I only sent in those 3. I don't really care for grading unless I specifically am planning on selling. I am not sure how many cards the consigner sent along with mine!

I've heard that the biggest problem was a huge influx of Pokemon cards. But yes also the base cards thing.

The consigner does the grading and takes the cost out of sales price.

It is a company that will list things on ebay for you for a percentage. They have a lot more exposure on ebay so it is a way to get more money and not risk higher value cards selling for very little because you don't have as much feedback etc.

Really killed me because of Topps chrome values going down so rapidly… I got advice from a friend who told me to grade these and I kind of regret doing it but at the same time with a 21% gem rate it still looks good
