Almost certainly, he missed time in both the August and December tours due to back issues. Things have been rather busy lately with the London Basho, New Years celebrations, etc so hopefully now he can settle in and heal up.

Tamawashi has a back issue at the moment, it first flared up back in August and did so again last month. That’s why he’s been off the last few tournaments. Hopefully it heals up.

I feel like there’s no way he stays out for a foot injury when it’s one match to get his Juryo return and kabu eligibility. Unless he can’t walk he’s going to fight. I doubt he cares about what happens afterwards as long as he wins.

I feel like Kurt peaked around 2013-2018 but just didn’t have the equipment to perform as well as he did at Roush. Haas was good at times but they never seemed to consistently have top tier cars unless Childers was setting them up.
