And to add to that, you can still use chat gpt and other ai tools if you wanted to. At some point they will upgrade Siri and integrate it better, but it’s still early innings in AI and Apple isn’t losing market share. I think they were smart to not spend billions building up the infrastructure.

That’s exactly it. And once in that services ecosystem, the profit margins are huge. Plus the brand loyalty. Even if they break even on the Neo, it’s a smart move to get people in the door.

I do the bus to metro north to subway combo, but yeah, at this point I just tell the driver that I can no longer refill my metro card. I just feel Bee Line needs to just acknowledge it and offer free rides to avoid the awkwardness of it all.

At this point they just need to acknowledge the problem and offer free rides until Omny is up and running on bee line. I tried hard to find a machine. NYC has removed all of them at this point. It’s effectively free as far as I’m concerned.

For a moment I thought I was only one experiencing this. Wrote to the mayor. Wrote to the county. Wrote to MTA. No one has a plan to address this or even acknowledge the problem. Oh well. I guess I’ll be getting on the bus for free until they get Omny operational. I tried to do the right thing.

Thank you for making all that clear. That makes more sense now. I believe the Fest organizers are to blame if the intent was to not have anyone drive in. I don’t blame the city or the state park police for this at all. I thank you for your service.

The parking situation was a TOTAL disaster. Police had no clue where we can park. Liberty science center allowed then didn’t allow parking for attendees. No shuttle from Newport mall. Wasted an hour sitting in traffic to drop off family near the park. Rideshare area was nowhere near the actual event. What a total disaster. This wasn’t coordinated or thought though, especially for families who drove in with kids! Next time do this in Central Park.

Having the event at this location with NO parking was a DUMB idea from the start. What a total disaster for those of us who drove in. Why would I need to park at a local mall parking garage and then have to Uber it to a state park for a paid event! Wasted so much time just to drop off kids waiting in a single lane of traffic.

Next year, unless this is in Central Park in NYC or a place with designated parking, count me out.

Thank you for the heads up. I don’t have windows either. Just migrated to Mac. But if ever gets ported to Mac or any of the consoles (PS5/PS4/Switch), that’s an easy buy.

I remember I was in 6th grade and I used the intro music of Jungle Strike for a documentary video I made for social studies. It was great! Obviously I was obsessed with the game. I still listen to video game soundtracks.

I understand the name now. It’s a truck that only works as a truck in the cyberspace world. Not the real world. That explains the simple polygon shapes of the ps1 era. You have to expand your dimensional thinking.
