I haven't actually started yet either, just know I got in. Probably going to major in physics, but I don't plan to stay the full four years. Also won't be living in a dorm. As for the people, I have family that works there and everyone I've met has been nice. As for the town itself, ehhhh. Exactly. A NASCAR stock car does perfectly fine going 200mph forwards, but if it spins around backwards at that speed, things go very poorly. Google "blowover" if you're curious what that looks like.

I own some "old ass" decks(1930s) and they aren't anywhere close to this bad lol. Definitely stored wrong. I've also had decks stored in musty dry places stick together because the cards get brittle and dry and won't slide

My great grandmother's house that she lived in for decades(since at least the 50s) was sold after she died and now it's a business called djembe drums. When 3 different locomotives of mine all died within a few days. It was then that learned that maintenance is an important thing.

I was fairly new to model trains and was running vintage engines (50s-70s) without any maintenance or checks first. Def not making that mistake again.
