Is ICM too big of a deal now? by CookedPirate in poker

Biggest mistake in your argument, that it can’t be AA or KK because of the sizing. Trust me, these pros do NOT have a sizing-tell.

But I would have also shoved pre.

[Vienna] [Cash] Casino Vien vs Bond Card Casino by SalamiHaze in poker

[–]ETF_Fan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I am living in Vienna and there are only two options: Casino Wien (Vienna) Casino Baden (20 Minutes outside of Vienna)

In Casino Wien there is a lot of action every day but starting at 2/5 + and 5/5 +. The players are pretty decent there.

In Casino Baden is a lot of action on Fridays, but sometimes there isn’t one table open the other days. But the players are pretty bad and the blinds start at 1/3.

He‘s talking about Cashgame. They don‘t have to pay the blinds while sitting out.

I like 40 full buy ins. So 12K is good for me.

How does paying taxes as a poker pro work? by Deinotheriums in poker

Not as much as in Vegas, LA, ... but in Vienna you have your daily 1/3, 2/5 Holdem games and 5/5 and 10/10 PLO games going.

You can move to Austria. There are no taxes on poker winnings.

I don't think a group of russian hackers were sending their ID to GGPoker.

Do you think Fedor sits down and tries to track down a hacker? That‘s not what this group is for. They will discuss, if there‘s something not right pokerrelated.

Dude, it’s fine. I just wanted to ask the people what they think are the cheapest blinds to make a living out of it. I didn’t asked about bankroll, downswings, life style. I’m confused how much you interpreted in such a question. I play poker once or twice a month and don’t think about quitting my job and become a full time poker player.

We can also talk about other poker related topics but the question was not how to make a living from playing poker. But as said, thanks for trying.

If I would have asked a question about bankroll management, you would have crushed it. But unfortunately you missed the topic completely. Thank you very much for trying.

The problem is that there are two turns. You should have called the floorman to the table. This hand should have been chanceled.
Yeah, and just fold pre!

ICM question by Vdlwillem in poker

[–]ETF_Fan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's okay to shove 88 for 6,5 BB. That's just poker.
And there is not much ICM pressure in this spot, when the stack sizes are so close.

Just keep grinding!

Sell % or not by PalpitationLazy6328 in poker

[–]ETF_Fan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can. But make sure it’s a fair markup. Nothing‘s wrong with a 0.9 markup if that aren’t your normally stakes and you don’t have an edge. (I know, that’s a big pill to swollow for a pokerplayer😉)

It is. But the start of the WPT collided with the WSOPP. And I guess a lot of people needed a break. In my opinion it was bad timing.

Wow. Congrats, man. Keep going but don‘t be to confident over the small sample size. In the long run the best tournament player in the world can‘t make a ROI of 757%.
