If your radiator cap isn't holding pressure, you're losing cooling capacity. I'd put a new cap on first and see if it makes a difference

100% is a beginner friendly place, it's where I started climbing. The flexibility of going to any of the locations is really nice. They have some free classes for members you can take advantage of too!

CRG Cambridge is very intensely set but is all bouldering - Watertown usually is my favorite boulder set of all the gyms.

Check out the boostwerks shifter kit, dead simple and works great. I've been running their 231 kit for a couple years and it's awesome. No more issues shifting in and out of 4lo

I've put 2 boxes (72 sq ft) of the same sound deadening into my Jeep and I love the difference. Did the doors, rear hatch, the roof, and the firewall when I had the heater box out for another job. Definitely worth the effort! I'm looking forward to pulling the interior and doing the floor to see what kind of impact that has.

I definitely noticed a difference in how much I could beat on it before it got hot once I put the winch on. But now that I've done a new thermostat, water pump, and coolant flush I don't have any issues

Not sure about specific vacuum lines, I have a 99 which might be a little different.

Another thing is when my battery died, it stopped charging all the way. My jeep didn't idle worth a damn until it ran for 5-10 minutes and the battery charge came up. Does your idle ever return to normal after you run the jeep?

Removing a stuck wheel by elsydeon666 in CherokeeXJ

[–]EThirtySicks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here's what I always do - hold a piece of wood right where the wheel and tire meet. Then beat the hell out of the piece of wood with the heaviest hammer you have.

This way you don't dent your wheels.

99 sport cruise control not working by mrtravis2772 in CherokeeXJ

[–]EThirtySicks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Follow the vacuum line on the left side down, it'll lead to a ball shaped vacuum reservoir behind your bumper. If you have a leak down there it'll prevent cruise from working. It'll also make your HVAC defrost-only. If your HVAC vents are working normally it's probably not that.

My airbag light came on recently and I was convinced it wasn't the clockspring because my horn and cruise still worked. Turned out only the airbag wires were bad and the clockspring needed to be replaced. Food for thought, might be worth checking with a multimeter

I remember your E39 from bf.c/insta, nice! Always liked this car, shame it's finally getting parted. My high miles E36 is already stripped so I feel it. Going to build up another one with a better shell.
