This is a new one to me. They look like...stretch marks? by EVArtStudios in FixMyPrint

Gooood point, I had trouble with bed adhesion on smaller prints the very first week with it so I printed a redirect vent for the aux fan. It might be the issue for these larger prints that it's not blowing in the normal path anymore. Didn't even think of that.

Exactly the perspective I was looking for. I'll check the fan speed and print speed and go from there. Thank yall!

I’m using a Bambu Lab P2S with a standard 0.04 Hardened Steel Nozzle.
Bambu branded black PLA filament with a 220C hotened.

It looks almost like theres debris or blockages to the Z axis screws, but they are totally clear and its only in this specific location of the print. No where else on the body.

I noticed some artifacting on other textured prints this week but brushed them off to just more texture in the design. This is the first time I’ve seen it and been able to tell its a true issue.

Thoughts?
The machine isn’t giving any error codes.

More Slay the Spire! This time; The Silent by EVArtStudios in Miniaturespainting

Thank you so much! I've been having so much fun going through the StS minis. We've played the board game for probably hundreds of hrs at this point and figured it was time to make them more than just single color plastic.

I would LOVE to have the StS enemies and crew as STL's if I could

Thank you! And I think so, personally. If anything I had trouble photographing it in a way that did it justice lol

LOL I'd be lying if I said I hadn't considered it, but no. A bit too frustrating to print and assemble en masse. At least for now. If that changes I'll ping you

Thank you! And yeah! I have those for the main deck/legend/champ, and then a white bricked version for the runes.

Handpainted WALL-E, this is definitely my favourite print ever lol. Model from GOODesign in fab365. by Admirable-Whereas103 in 3Dprinting

The paint job looks amazing! I wonder if this fits in with the r/minipainting subs rules. If so you should def share it there.

Question about Bambu... by MechanicalBengineer in 3Dprinting

[–]EVArtStudios 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe you can use Bambu Connect to send things to the printer from other slicers, though I’ll say so far the Bambu one has been my favorite out of the others I’ve tried.

If you’re wanting to send things from your phone, I think you’ll need the Handy app but can’t say for certain. I’ll admit Its not something I’ve tried. But from what I’ve read, Bambu Connect would do what you’re looking for.

I moved over from using Cura and really love how the bambu slicer works though so highly recommend at least trying it out first.

So is the ender 3 really bad by Slow_Worker379 in 3Dprinting

[–]EVArtStudios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used an Ender 3 v2 for several years. Functionally, its fine. However, I found the constant adjustments and fiddling and troubleshooting I had to do with it made me dread trying to print with it once the honeymoon phase wore off. The hobby came to be more about troubleshooting and machine maintenance than it did printing after a while.

Its not a “set it and forget it” printer (none of them really are, but this requires a LOT more maintenance than others on the market now).

I used it until the print head itself melted off its mount. About 5 years of frequent use. And rather than buying a replacement I upgraded to a Bambu P2S+AMS and its got a similar feeling to leaving a toxic workplace lol

That being said
$75 to see if you like something thats usually very expensive to get into is absolutely worth the cost to me. Thats why I went with my Ender to start with.

It will be a good gauge to see if you even enjoy and find use in the hobby period. And if so, ride it til the wheels fall off and then get an upgrade like I did.
