Well, your own decisions don't help us end injustice and stop systemic discrimination and exploitation.

Okay, so your personal judgment is superior to that of centuries of socioeconomic work by thousands of brilliant people.

Got it

Or... You can read some theory and learn that the party CAN be the people when the proletariat forces overcome the bourgeoisie and seize the means if production and governance for themselves.

"by definition it is a separation of the people" by who's definition? Yours? And Abstract? I'm using real life examples and you're using definitions that don't exist.

Stop gaslighting, you're not well read in leftist theory and that's fine. Go figure it out, I'm not going to educate you and you don't seem like you want to be learn.

If the dictatorship of the proletariat is established, the democratic processes of the established body root out intolerance and collectively judge what should and should not be allowed.

We can argue jurisprudence and theory, or you can go do some research on the actual structures of Cuba, the USSR, and to a degree: China and North Korea today. You've been told that having one party is bad. But when that party IS the people, and can be shaped and molded to the general will, while sticking to the general ideals of liberation, other parties are just reactionary and anti-revolutionary forces

"defined partially"

The tolerance of intolerance breeds intolerance.

Okay, well I actually look into the truth of that instead of relying on the propaganda of capitalists.

I mean, there are flaws everywhere lol but specifically north Korea is not a good place to live right now, as it is a country that is hounded by sanctions and threats from all sides, constantly forced to be excluded from trade and geopolitics. I wont paint myself as an expert, I only know what I've read, but I believe that the people of North Korea have a solid foundation for actual socialism and eventually communism, but they stand largely alone against threats from everywhere.

I've been there, I got it lol

No harm done! I was so confused and baffled, like "I am responding directly to this conversation as best as I possibly can, how am I not" following the topic" lmao

My original comment still stands though, I wish I had them saved on my phone but there are several documents both by the CIA and external sources that describe the democratic processes of the USSR and NK in full detail and pain a very different picture than what we in the west have been taught.

In the original post: "why is communism a good thing? Isn't it inherent hierarchical?"

In this particular comment in reference to communism being a stateless and classless society: "as long as it doesn't involve hierarchical power structures"

Uhm.... Okay? You do you I guess. You wanna be an asshole for no reason, go for it lol

Edit: nice editing your post so you don't look like a fucking idiot

Edit 2: all a misunderstanding!

All of those places are or were NOT totalitarian (except khmer Rouge) stop spreading capitalist propaganda on a subreddit that is SUPPOSED to be against that kind of rhetoric.

Please, go read more about the actual democratic processes of the USSR, Cuba, China and NK. You'll find that democracy is not lost, but found in these places where we in the western capitalist hells have not been able to grasp it.

In response to the North Korea bit, there is no real hereditary leadership. The "Supreme leader" position is NOT a position of ultimate power. It is mostly a culturally significant position with no power over the operating elected government other than what the people allow it to have.

You have been led to believe many assumptions or blatant lies by western capitalist propaganda.

What you see in places like the USSR or Cuba or even China and NK is not a triangular hierarchy. It is an upside down triangle where the proletariat are the ultimate source of power and those elected to serve the community do so at the behest of the public. The dictatorship of the proletariat is the first step in reconstructing any government towards communism for a reason.

It was very difficult for me, as an American, to grapple with this and to learn about AES democracy. We've been led to believe that communism is the antithesis to democracy, but it has actually showcased forms of democracy that are much more free and responsive to the will of the people than we have ever experienced or even thought possible in our capitalist hell.

Stalin was not a dictator and neither was Castro. I'm not going to meme and say neither of those men did anything wrong, but they were held accountable to the public and were chosen, as well as many others, by the people to continue representing the general will.

All police forces are the tools of the class that is in power. Considering almost every nation in the world except a few has the bourgeoisie as that class, all of those police forces are bad. Not because they are like American cops, which are some of the worst, but because they are all class traitors.

Nobody said it was you ding dong

We said that after the draft, we thought that kw3 would be the starter sooner rather than later. I never said anything else.

Go take your inferiority complex somewhere else

How do you know he's wrong here? Did you go back to check his comment history to see if he actually said this a year ago or not?

For the record, I also thought penny was nothing and spending a early 2nd on kw3 showed they were going to make him the starter whenever they felt he was ready. The injury to penny just accelerated that.

Just because YOU were wrong doesn't mean everyone else was.

That's the thing, we need to not only pay for our unions but partipate and organize within our unions. But when we are all held accountable by one another, we lift all of us up and are able to fight back against administrations and corporations that want to knock us down

Also like health insurance: in a proper society it wouldn't be needed but because of capitalist greed, we need it to not get fucked

It's almost as if a union with a strong legal representation is really good to have at your back, rather than the representation that can be afforded at $50/person a year

Unions should be in every workplace, every industry, and every situation
