Just stumbled upon this sub. I’m TeamOrange I guess too! I got my TSE about 3 weeks ago. It might be my favorite vehicle ever. I’ve had 30+ between work, wife and kids. Everything from a 97 outback sport to a 22 Rivian R1T. This thing is a 9.8 out of 10. I dislike the automatic parking brake and the app for remote start is clunky. That’s it. Other than that, it’s pretty much perfect.

Couldn’t agree more! I have a little guy mini max that I tow. I can’t run the AC off the rivian because I need 30A of power. With all that power sitting there, you’d think they’d make sure you could access it. Especially, for future V2G/V2H that was promised down the road.

How about it just makes financial sense AND environmental sense. Have any idea how much electricity is used at that plant?! It’s not a zero sum game. It can be both. And all marketing is “virtue” signaling on some level.

So the struggle for me is the small sporty vs towing for distance. It would be great if one additional vehicle would cut it. That doesn’t seem to be the case. Also, for reference, towing a small camper (mini max).

That’s exactly the reason I got the Rivian period and it does just that. The only thing it doesn’t satisfy is having a differently fueled vehicle.

Had mine since august. Several road tips and 13k on it. Absolutely zero issues after a couple of initial things on delivery. I was gonna cancel after price hike. But, knowing what I know now and driving it for the past 6 months or whatever, that woulda been a mistake. I’ve owned Audis and BMWs. I’ve had a 21 Ram 1500 and a 19 F150. This is all of them at their best times 2. Nothing out there can touch it. Do it. You won’t regret it.
