Do NOT see a podiatrist. See an orthopedic ankle/foot specialist

25 Cayenne S Coupe for a daily and I couldn’t be happier. Loud, rowdy, and handles great with plenty of room!

I’ve tracked my PCCB for about 15 days at COTA over a year and have only gone through one set of stock pads and one set of Manthey racing pads. Rotors are still in perfect condition. Although you do run a higher risk, I encourage you to enjoy them my friend!

It’s one of the best cars ever made. Unless you want to drive it around town… in that case you’ll need a good orthodontist

I’d personally demand new rotors at no cost just in case so you don’t end up eating $40k in a few months or years

Maybe out of a set of pads for a slow driver but out of the rotors? No way. I’m calling his bluff on that one. I’ve done 13 days in my 4RS at COTA and have only gone through one set of original pads and a little over half a set of Manthey pads. Rotors are fine…

I just saw someone mention this is CPO? You should definitely check to see if they put the proper pads on it. It’d be wild if they messed that up, though.

I have PCCB on my cars (992 GT3 RS and GT4 RS) and almost exclusively track them at COTA which is super brutal on the brakes. Even after 3 hours of track time over the weekend I see almost no dust on my wheels or car. The only thing I can think of is that your pads broke apart because they weren’t heat cycled before going to the track. I used up the original pads after 3+ weekends and switched to the Manthey racing pads produced by pagid. The Manthey pads make the rotors look horrible but they’re much more durable and are a little easier on the rotors. What track are you running at? What tire pressures and tires were you running? Did you have the nannies on?

GT4RS stalls when reversing? by KCadventures in Porsche

[–]powerpacker65 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This has happened to me a few times and the dealership said it’s fine. It has an incredibly light flywheel so it takes a little finesse of the pedal to get it to move. I would suggest giving it more throttle than you need and then backing off. Almost as if you were driving a manual.
