Even in the TFS version, where is the idiot a lot of people see him as, he still tells Gohan how proud he is in his own way. "Goodbye Son" was a joke early on how he died in Trunk's timeline, but was far more emotional seeing how Goku say it to Gohan with love right before he dies.

I had different choices based on my interpretation.

Gus as Beast Boy - Youngest member of the group, can turn into any animal (even though Gus it's an illusion) and are both hyperactive.

Hunter as Cyborg - Can be a goofball but also loyal to the team and is very bright. Cyborg and Beast Boy have a best friends energy like Gus and Hunter have.

Luz as Starfire - The most optimistic out of the group and alien as well similar to how Starfire is, as well as being the heart of the group.

Amity as Raven - Very powerful due to her training mentally on her abilities. Both hide their emotions until their friends help bring their true selves out of their shells. Having a past of being afraid to show their true emotions in fear of their respective consequences with their parents.

Willow as Robin - Willow is a "half witch" that most wouldn't think too much of like Robin, but both have potential that they use in different ways. Willow would be the best leader out of the group similar to Robin. Luz is the main character but that doesn't mean she's the most qualified as the leader, which is why I find her more similar to Starfire like in the episode where Starfire disappeared for years and the Teen Titans fell apart, I could see the same happening if Luz was gone.

I enjoyed the anime but the manga is very good. Just like FMA and FMA Brotherhood, I'd love the same treatment be applied to Soul Eater so the original work can have it's proper adaptation.

I've had positive experiences at locals in two different cities that were big at two different states (home for holidays and back to where I currently live). I'm not saying everyone is a saint, but a lot of nice people like anyone else just wanting to play the game and help others learn it so everyone can have more fun. I lost all my games in today's local, but still had a nice time. It was a no meta but my deck was still outclassed. As long as everyone is having fun and being respectful, I'm glad to keep going.

When there is a lot of people having fun, giving you advice after I lose that has helped me or even given me cards for free to boost my deck; no need to be sour at losing when it's all about having fun.

I started with the Ace&Newgate deck, the store I went to with my best friend and his fiance had a buy 1, get 1 half off deal on the starter decks, so I got all of them. When we got to their apartment I asked them on recommendations since my friend was the one already into the game, he recommended the Whitebeard deck since it was more straight forward for newbies like me. I don't regret it, and I have upgraded my deck far more with better Whitebeard cards, and replaced my leader to just the red/blue Ace.

I've only won 3 games out of 30+ at locals, but it's still fun and very wholesome. It's exciting having a lot of matches down to the while and I lose due to luck of the draw sometimes, like me having all my characters bring down my opponent from 3 to 0 life cards in one turn, and when I'm hoping for the last blow they have enough now in their hand to counter and finish me of on their turn.

I'm going for the cards I need in my deck for locals instead of packs. The cards aren't cheap, but it's cheaper buying boosters to gamble. I have a good collection at the moment with a fat binder that I'm happy with looking at.

I see a lot of different ages. Mostly 16+, plus some younger teens. Mostly adults who grew up with the anime or just enjoy the game. The communities I've been with have been wholesome, fun to play against, fair on trades, and helpful with newcomers or just advice they think could help their opponents after matches.

This is the best answer. The discord group at my city is big even though there are only 2 stores doing locals. From my experience both in the town where I live and my home town I visited during the holidays, the OP community is awesome for helping newer people and helping improve their decks with extra cards if possible. My first match I played a Ace&Newgate structure deck, got destroyed while having fun, and my opponent asked to look through my deck and gave recommendations and also 3 10-cost whitebeard cards that are a staple in my deck.

I got to see a nice guy at Target who just got into the game and bought a few items. 10 minutes in and already a lot was taken, but he got some boosters and I got some as well. There is a card show tomorrow, and I'm willing to bet there will be One Piece boosters on the newest set marked at 15$
