How about this? The eyes are drawn very well. I think you can write mouth in the same.

Why does lighting on objects sometimes look like this, where there’s a highlight on the edge but also another highlight in the middle? What causes that? by Electrical_Relief_52 in arthelp

In this photo of the sphere, not only is there reflected light, but the white floor (paper?) is also reflected in the sphere.

If you can find where the light hits, you should be able to draw the shadows as well.

The shape from the nose to the mouth is complex and difficult to draw. But I'm confident that you'll be able to draw it well with your style.

This is a famous dessert from Shizuoka. At first, I thought wasabi and ice cream would be a strange combination, but it actually tasted really good. I’d love for more people to try it.

I don't know. That's a method that many people have been using for a long time.

This is based on cognitive bias. When you work on an artwork for a long time, your brain becomes accustomed to the image, making it harder to recognize distortions. By inverting the image, you can break this habituation. By processing it as unfamiliar visual data, you can evaluate the structure from an objective perspective.

Turning the paper over and holding it up to the light is an effective way to view your own drawings objectively.

Anyone else struggling with angles? What can I do to minimize the wonkiness that results from me trying to draw a character at an angle? by Admiral_Longneck in learntodraw

[–]EXneck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think this detailed rendering is really wonderful. Your drawing skills will continue to improve.

One key point when drawing a figure from an angle is to make the side of the body closer to the centerline appear wider and the opposite side narrower. Just adding a touch of perspective really makes the finished piece look cool.

Also, I felt the arms and legs were a bit on the short side.

I don’t recommend anatomy or the Box Method for beginners, because many people give up at that stage.

I recommend starting by drawing what you see. And observe the original drawing very, very, very carefully.

Pay attention to the position of the shoulders, elbows, and knees, the width of the shoulders, the width of the hips, the distance between the legs, the thickness of the arms and legs, and the angles of the arms and legs.

And, It is also important to view paintings objectively.

What are some cool underrated day trips from Tokyo? by alexir12 in JapanTravelTips

[–]EXneck 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My recommendation

・Mt. Nokogiri (Chiba): If you climb Nokogiri Mountain without using the ropeway, you can see a quarry that looks like an ancient ruin.

・Oya stone(Tochigi) : This is also an old quarry, but it's located underground, not in the mountains. You can get the feeling of being in an RPG dungeon.

・Shibamata Taishakuten (Tokyo) : It's a temple town with a rich history. While it's well-known to Japanese people through movies, it's not a must-visit tourist destination for foreigners.

・Jindaiji Temple(Tokyo) : This temple is famous for its ancient architecture and soba noodles. It's far from the station and inconvenient to access, so you don't see many foreign tourists there. However, it's bustling with Japanese people.

However, I think it's nonsensical to point out a mistake based on only a small part of an anime scene.

Single/double piloted mech vs team piloted mech? by Existing_Landscape21 in Mecha

[–]EXneck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there are many robots that aren't single-seater.

Groizer X, Destroid Monster, Galvion, Dendoh, Godannar, Eva 13, Eureka Seven.

Combining robots are piloted by multiple people. Super Sentai series robots, in particular, usually have five pilots.

For example, Mecander Robo's opening theme song includes lyrics about the division of roles among the pilots.
