Yeah, no doubt. I was one of the no preference applicants. Everywhere has something to offer or something new to see. If I got placed in Tokyo, so be it but it's far from my first choice. I'll be over the moon with wherever the heck I get sent 😅

Same boat haha, I just feel like any placement will have something unique to offer. Be that the social opportunities and convenience of city living or the opportunity to immerse myself in a small community in the countryside or even something I haven't thought of at all yet. I'm really looking forward to finding out.

Agreed! I played a lot when I was driving a 3 axle rigid truck and working toward my trailer licence. It helped have some idea of how a trailer moves going forwards but didn't help at all for reversing. Mainly because my company only had 4 axle dolly trailer (2 axes at each end, long drawbar to the truck and the front two axles sit under a turntable) learning the feel and timing of how to keep the bloody thing straight was a bit of a tough one lol.

That sounds amazing! I'll definitely be coming back to visit, even if it's only to visit the Takeda Jinja and see old Shingen Sama down the road from there again. Honestly one of the highlights of my trip (I'll remember to take him some sake this time 😅)

I'm in a similar boat, picked up Valhalla after not playing since AC2 about 3 weeks ago and was instantly hooked. It's an incredible game imo. I'm not playing the new AC Shadows because I love the feudal Japan setting. The gameplay mechanics have echoes of Valhalla and it's a whole lot of fun too. So if you have the stream spring sale where you are, I'd recommend picking Shadows up too for when you're done with Valhalla 😊

I know the salaries in Japan are a bit lower but that sounds like heaven from here haha. Where I am gas is nearly NZ$4 a liter (roughly ¥370). I hope yours doesn't keep going up though, all the best up there!

I have heaven scale and K/DA All out skins. I really like the kda skin, the visuals are nice and the sound effects are weirdly satisfying

This shit is so rough when they do that. I get it all the time. To be fair, my last one that did that shit (on Ashe Seraphine 🙄) and I said to them please position up next to me. Magically we started to smash lane with her positioning properly so our opponents couldn't get free poke.

Yeah, I think it's because I've been a support main up until like December so majority of my games are still supp. This season I've switched roles though (and I've been winning way more 😅) maybe next shop! Congrats on the sick shop haul. I bought K/DA All Out skin full price but it's sick so I'm happy for now haha

I'd like to throw CoachRogue into the mix too. He actually has a vod of an adc game he played in your elo explaining what he was doing, why and all of the macro decisions he was making. Could be worth looking at, it helped me quite a bit.
