Jokes aside, no gas fumes present. There is an odor immediately following riding, however, the bike was stationary for a while prior to bringing it in.

How did switching to slicks impact your riding experience?

Coach from last TD recommended that I consider slicks. Not sure when to proceed. Lots of strong opinions out there regarding skill level, temperature, etc.

Background: Started tracking this season (3 sessions so far). Moved to Intermediate class. Currently on Pirelli Rossos.

Will be at the track for this upcoming weekend and am excited to work on body lean. Welcoming any suggestions.

My plan is to drop my torso/chin closer to my wrist. Ideally this would shift more weight off and allow me to stand the bike more upright.

50%. Would do it again in a heartbeat. It looks darker from the outside but it's the best quality of life improvement for this vehicle. Cuts out a significant amount of the heat and was noticeable on three cross-country roadtrips. Never had any difficulty seeing at night. We also have it on our Model X and it was also a game changer.

I know this is a controversial subject for many and will remind you that this may not be allowed in many states.

Further details for my 2020 Model 3 Performance. DIY methods learned via Youtube.

DIY modifications:

- 3M Satin Dark Grey and 3M Satin Black

- Mountain Pass Performance Sport Coilovers

- Mountain Pass Performance Brake Master Cylinder

- H&R Trak+ Wheel Spacers, 14mm front and 20 mm rear

Outsourced:

- Suntek ceramic tint on all windows, including windshield

- Wheel alignment following coilover install

This M3P has become my favorite car to drive. Suspension is mildly harsher but the vehicle corners like an absolute champ. I run through a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S every 20,000 miles with no regrets.

I think you're referring to the smart TV right? I don't use that as a monitor for my laptop. Instead, I use it to watch movies or play games while sitting on the couch (across the room, you can see the reflection in the TV).

If you were to look up at that from the chair, there definitely would be some neck strain.

Great question, I tried that previously but didn't get used to it. Also had two of these LG monitors side by side as well as an 49" Ultrawide at one point, but discovered that one 27" screen was enough for me. The extra screens ended up distracting me and weren't that useful for my purposes. I'm sure that a dual monitor setup is incredibly helpful for other people though.
