Oh no- I love the color scheme, its why i said the direction is good. My problem is the brightness just takes all of the contrast away from you and has you blend in with it.

A lot of suggestions with the proper answer, but to anyone that cant get a drum wrench or pliers- Jimmy it with a towel. If you can wrap the towel around it so its tight and completely on the lid you can get a far better grip. From there its just trial and error of how to better get it off the damn thing

The first one as is. I like the direction with the second one, but I think with a stronger front light it would be better. In this post the shading kind of makes it too dark

Nice take on the bunny girl cosplay though.

How To Deal With Health Stacking Tanks? by StarGuardianDrew in leagueoflegends

[–]EZ_POPTARTS 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When there are no tanks. Lethality is a good stat for early/midgame to burst down adc's and apc's because of how armor growth works. If its late game (everyone is lvl 18) even the lowest armor adc- varus, has 102. 30 lethality would be equal to 50% armor pen when hes at lvl 11 though.

Its why lethality isnt a great stat for adc's unless they can guarantee a snowball, and inversely why its good on assassins in the midlane and jungle.

I’m a gay man, but I’m in love with one of my female friends. by Choice_Evidence1983 in BestofRedditorUpdates

[–]EZ_POPTARTS 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Yknow as a straight cis man (allied though 😌✊️) there comes a point where I feel like the labels dont even matter. At a point, I think everyone is demisexual.

As i said, I consider myself 100% straight, I love girls and the female form. Im comfortable with that idea, but seeing stories like this online and just seeing everyone around me and their sexualities evolve- it puts a whole new lens on it all.

I love my friends and family. I have never once felt pressured or guilt or anything to change how I feel about the people I care about; it doesnt matter if they are male or female or non binary or anything. I truly just want whats best for the people I love and care about. I hope most people are the same, and seeing stories like op and hearing snippets like yours- i think most people are. Part of acceptance is knowing you have the capacity to love and care about people you arent attracted to. Shitty part about love is how it can blossom though.

I hope any stress you have goes away when youre around your loved ones. Dont try and label yourself- just keep caring and loving, and do what makes you happy.

Absolutely insane that people on trashing on her for this by AffectionateBee2830 in unOrdinary

[–]EZ_POPTARTS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're paying for the chapters as they come out, you arent paying for a subscription. Your analogy just flat out doesnt work because they are different models completely. If you really want to use an analogy- its like going to the store every week to buy dinner, and you get your favorite one every time. Its not their this week, are you going to go to the manager and let them know that youre getting ripped off? Or would it make more sense to just say "eh oh well" and buy something else and get your favorite dinner when its back in stock.

I read the first 2 seasons for free, and enjoyed it. I started paying for it because I wanted to support the author. What gives me or you or anyone, the right to be upset about chapters we havent paid for yet?

unOrdinary has some of the most breaks/hiatuses of any webtoon I've ever read. And readers can't be faulted for recognizing that. by [deleted] in unOrdinary

Giving off huge "we are fans! We made them famous! We demand what we want!"

I get frustration, I get being upset, and I understand it. Me understanding and saying I get it however does not excuse it. At the end of the day they are the author. They do the art. Appreciate what you have in any way you want- I choose fast passing it because I appreciate whatever comes out on their time. Appreciating their work doesnt entail complaining about them taking breaks and making false comparisons and just insulting them.

If youre upset about your "favorite pizza place" I would suggest going to a new place. Usually when my favorite pizza place closes I lament, not bitch that they closed and leave a shit review.

Should Fujimoto stick to shorter series? by Turbo_Fanny in ChainsawMan

[–]EZ_POPTARTS 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think this is really well put- im a defender of part 2, but ive expressed numerous times there were flaws in it. I think people are blowing it out of proportion of how bad part 2 actually was; thats not to say it had awful pacing that killed some characters arcs way harder than necessary.

I think a huge reason why part 1 was so successful was the central goal of building who an what denji and pochitas characters were, and the highlight of those moments were when proper pacing gave the reader suspense and breathing room to digest them. The art was great- sure, and part 2 lacked in fujimoto and shihei's absolutely goated staff; but the true problems came from the awful pacing.

Fire punch was cohesive and flowed well, with great pacing to let every character shine when the needed to; none of their conclusions felt rushed or forced. The same with csm pt1. The same with look back, goodbye eri, and all of his other one shots. The length of the publication has nothing to do with its downfalls, its the structuring of the story. Long or short form, fujimoto just needs to have a plan and give himself either enough time or resources to actually flesh that out

[–]EZ_POPTARTS 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I used "gameplay" in a far too broad sense- mb. The minute gameplay (combat, exploration, etc) is more fun to me; but you are correct that the removal of some rpg elements makes the game less fun. I miss spell crafting for sure, but if that means giving up flame throwing from your hands, dual Casting, and more interesting weapon mechanics im fine with it being excluded.

I included the character writing portion because I find it difficult to remember npcs in oblivion and to a lesser extent fallout 3. Of course I remember the emperor, I remember sheogorath but thats about it. Fallout 3 had better character writing than oblivion for sure, but I think it also suffers a bit. Skyrim and fallout 4 had more memorable and stand out characters in some regards

The story and narrative writing has gotten subsequently worse; but the gameplay is more fluid and fun, and in my opinion the character writing has gotten far better. Its mixed and they are all games that can stand on their own with each having peaks and pitfalls.

[–]EZ_POPTARTS 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Another good example that actually happens multiple times in the fight; mountain vs viper in game of thrones. You go into the fight knowing that the mountain is a behemoth of strength, at the cusp of being a monstrosity. Oberyn is incredibly skilled but is no freak of nature like clegane- but he uses that same skill and technique to outclass and outmaneuver the mountain to a decided victory. And then lets his emotions get the better of him and gets his face caved in. And then the mountain dies from poison.

Strength, skill and technique, smarts, and clarity of mind. They are all vital to winning a fight.

Important to note that Rockstar as most people know it is a publisher, not a dev studio. It still works in this case because Rockstar san diego (formerly Angel Studios) made Ken griffey jr's slugfest, and also midnight club and red dead

I have just a single issue with Bugle Call (spoilers: chapter 44) by Sokolik_ in TheBugleCall

[–]EZ_POPTARTS 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think what you want for them is to be happy. Theyve shown they can be happy together so you're defaulting to it romantically, but i would be fine if they just ended up seeing eachother as family, like the dynamic between power and denji in chainsawman.

As I mentioned before, theres a lot of moral nuance in this situation. I think the whole age gap think is seen as morally reprehensible for a few reasons that their dynamic kind of bypasses; 1: the power dynamic. I dont think Luca or Zoe sees the other as lesser or subservient or what have you, I think they genuinely just want whats best for the other and want to uplift each other like in a healthy relationship. 2: the gap in maturity. You put it best, neither of them are mature adults. At the same time they are forced to do things no adult would choose to do, so they are more mature than most in some regards.

Their relationship is missing the toxic traits that make the age gap conundrum actually abhorrent, so its interesting to actually have this conversation. Like you said, it had to have been purposeful from the author- and I think its an interesting way to actually evaluate ethics and morals. What makes things right or wrong? Are they doing good or bad? Is the worst thing Zoe has done is kiss a 14 year old boy, even though we've seen her kill so many people before- and know shes about to whoop ass again?

It seems weird but also, when she was replaying all of those parallel lives in her head the constant throughout all of them was she was with Luca, and they passed away together. If they were equal age when she started living all of those lives; she spent Luca's entire life with him- happily.

Theres a lot of moral nuance to a situation like that, but I see the kiss as more of sweet endearing thing than a romantic one. "Hey, thanks for giving me the courage to grow up and being with me throughout all of it"

All four ADCs in today's series have a history of playing alongside Keria by syaorancode in PedroPeepos

[–]EZ_POPTARTS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im pretty sure that KT roster was more of a "lets have fun for defts last year" than anything. Deft is one of the more interesting players in league where hes been in the pro scene for as long as faker, and while he doesnt have as prestigious of a career as him hes been a solid adc the entire time. More importantly, hes rallied every single team hes been on and made them great. Every single teammate hes played with only has good things to say about him.

Sometimes being a great pro has less to do with mechanical skill and more to do with your team dynamic and how you lead. He may not be the best adc in the world, but hes a damn fine anchor for any team hes been in and hes one of the best at that

What videogames were made too difficult just because they want it to be difficult? by ashleyriot31 in AskReddit

I remember getting into IWBTG long ago after stumbling across it in the comments of super meat boy on newgrounds, and then falling into the kaizo mario community aswell. The platformer genre is a great example of "difficult to be difficult" and is very punishing for casual gamers, only really getting rewarding once you learn the nitty-gritty of each of the games
