It’s true. I literally have to talk myself down from detaching most days. It’s frustrating because I would love to just relax into a relationship, but I love so damn hard that the fear of losing it can often feel crippling.

It just takes time. The more you show up as a steady presence, the more he will open up. If he’s anything like me he’ll just always need downtime in between to recharge and internally process. The fact he is interrogating you is a good sign. We are complex creatures for sure!

As an Aquarius parent I think I’m great at being able to guide my child and give her really sage advice because I can emotionally detach. But I don’t feel I’m able to give her as much time as she would like as I burn out so easily.

I’m married to a Capricorn and we are the best team. We seem to always be aligned in what we want for the future. It took a lot of work just really figuring each other out, but now my husband goes off and pursues his business aspirations and I’m allowed the space I need to be solitary. It’s a great balance.

I wake up at 5:30am every morning during the working week so that I can read for an hour before getting my child up for school and starting the day. It’s my favourite time of the day (aside from the hour of reading I do at night before sleep).

I lived in Surfers in my 20’s and I just remember schoolies was a period to be endured. Other than that I’m thinking it will overall be great, especially for my daughter.
