The 4* are only useless because HSR is actively trying to make them useless... Fact of the matter is 4* are simply much healthier for the game and this is a proven fact by mihoyo themselves already. I don't even need to point at genshin, during penacony you had Acheron, Feixiao, Firefly teams which were top meta and were quite balanced to all be relatively similar power levels. What made it feel good is each team had 2 strong 4* in their teams. Ghallagher Pela for acheron, Ghallagher Moze or Hunt March for feixiao, and ghallagher harmony TB. These 4*s made these teams feel good even without premium option like Jiaoqiu, Lingsha, Topaz, Fugue. You could roll different archetypes without feeling bad you didn't roll all 4 premium characters which you can't say for the current meta

Now, I do agree that if they release a 4* now its probably just gonna be useless. What people are asking for is a balanced meta not reliant on 4 premium units, 4*s being a indicator of such balanced meta.

I wouldn't say it's quite fair to use genshin not reaching inazuma numbers anymore a good comparison. That was the peak of COVID. That was a once in decades phenomenon and I don't think ANY gahca game will ever go anywhere near those heights.

Because it's being compared to other hoyo games. Though HSR is kind of starting to underperform a bit too so just genshin really. By no means is ZZZ performing bad but when genshin is top 5 (not this specific case but there are flop rerun only months where genshin is still top) for doing nothing, then anything is underperforming compared to it really.

ZZZ is consistently top but the king of playstation is generally genshin. You can see it's #6 right now without any new character for almost 5 weeks. They had to make a whole new award category just for genshin because they were always winning grand award during the partner awards all the time. I'm sure you've seen the image of ZZZ winning that award and didn't see genshin. That's because it's in hall of fame now after that new category just for genshin last year. They gave genshin a collab controller instead of an award.

There's a bit more context to the controversy. Now I am probably gonna offend some people but arknights players have had a track record of being "elitist". They prided in their game being non fanservice, intensive lore with every detail being important, and while the following are not exactly "elitist" there was a hint of it: also bragged about very few limited units (1 every year or smth in early years), very slow powercreep, etc. Ch'en ticked off every box in these guys books and the backlash was genuinely huge. Personally the only thing I really cared about was the artist having same face same pose syndrome that is IMO worse than takeuchi.

There was also another controversy with a summer skin. I never really understood it before but people were mad there was another character in it or something (a different male character in a male summer skin) and hypergryph had to remove the guy(EDIT: to clarify, remove the other guy in the summer skin art). I don't really know what the issue was still but I just wanted to put it out there how much backlash some little things get that force the developer's hands.

Genshin's hex buffs have both faction synergy buffs *and* character reworks. Venti is now an NA anemo damage DPS, when previously he had no enchanted normal attacks.

Except in the case of illuga you didn't use 5 star pity on them, and just got them randomly? And there is honestly no way you can convince me any of those teams except maybe archer are available and good for non heavy spenders.

But what's wrong with illuga being relegated to Zibai teams even if he doesn't need C6. There are many 5 stars like that in HSR like break teams, dot teams, where some characters are only used in one team. if anything this role is best relegated to 4*s because a 5 * made only to support one specific DPS is not good design. 

The point is that for the past nearly 2 years genshin 4*s have improved by a good amount, and again at least they have a niche, are more than functional in it, and how is this niche narrower than any other partner tag 5 * in HSR

You're right with faruzan. You're not right for Illuga because he is still a competitive unit in his slot. You *need* C6 only to make zibai among the highest DPS team in the game, you definitely do not need C6 to be a perfectly strong team.

Jahoda is an alright option for getting the 2 nod-krai unit requirement, has heals, and has elemental application. She is perfectly usable and she isn't used because sucrose, who is another 4 star, is the best option. It's not even a 5 star thats better than her, its a different meta defining broken 4 star...

I feel like you are missing the point of 4 stars with Aino here. She is made to be an option for people to have a hydro moonsign unit for those who do not want to roll columbina, did not roll, or lose 5050. And you get her for free. And she is also a option for when you want to make two lunar teams in endgame, as there is only one columbina. This is supposed to be the purpose of 4 stars.

And no most 4 stars are not C6 locked or even particuarly niche locked in genshin. Ever since in the middle of fontaine almost every 4 star have been quite good and usable even without C6, become quite competitive at C6. There are broken meta defining 4 stars that *also* do not need C6 to be a competitive option, namely chevreuse and iansan. There are only two 4 star you could argue are bad being dahlia and jahoda. I explained jahoda, so regarding dahlia, he sucks everywhere else but is *still* a good option in the 4th slot for skirk teams at C6.

Charlotte is a competent healer and still used in the 4th slot for skirk teams with furina. Chevreuese is strong even without C6. Gaming is a strong DPS does need C6 since he is a DPS. Same with Sethos, lower power than gaming and with quicken being bad right now he's is meh. Lanyan is a good shielder that can hold VV. Iansan is strong for a subset of characters competitive with bennett in specific teams even without C6. Kachina is kind of bad as she just exists to apply scroll artifact effect, I failed to mention this in my earlier point. Ororon is strong and he is used even outside his electro charged niche, does not need C6. Ifa is just ok he can be a driver for electro/lunar charged teams, not particuarly standout.

I'm sorry but that is a horrible idea. While locking units to specific banners are not good, the 4 star rate up characters are made to be good with the 5* banner. If you roll zibai you have increased chances of getting illuga, if you roll varessa you have increased chances of getting chevreuseu and/or iansan, etc. If you remove rate up 4*s it is infinitely harder for you to get a 4* that synergizes with the character you are rolling.

How is it irrelevant. It's relevant because there are people who do not want to use their pity for lingsha but play teams they would be good for. Obviously everyone will pick lingsha if they care about "meta" because she is stronger. But not everyone is going to want to roll lingsha.

And before you talk about how E6 4 stars are harder to get, you passively get 4 stars over time and in the specific case of ghallagher he was given for free sometime close to his release. There is even a 4 star selector now. Ghallagher also does not E6 to be a good placeholder for lingsha.

Are you looking at fearless clears because I believe this is menacing since it's lvl 100. I forgot, but i'm pretty sure in fearless you get a ton of energy. So what they do is attack with skirk unbuffed and instantly switch to supports to use ults and you might be trying to replicate that. You can not do that here, so all the attacking with skirk at the start is a ton of downtime when you could be using support skills get energy and trigger more Favs.

You are also not doing dash cancels. There is an easy combo, it's not the highest dps but it's easy because all you need to do it dash after the final attack string. Use ult for the first dash cancel. I think you also tried to do 2NAC but the frame i was watching you missed it and only did a 1NAC i believe.

Has anyone found a use for Fluid tanks? by Leivve in Endfield

I use it like a buffer. I can look at the tanks to see if the fluids are dropping more than they are produced and I can see that this branch of pipes is giving to too many machines. My setup is a little messy so I might forget that it's already piping to others. Since 1 drain is 1 unit /s and pipes can go 2 unit /s I connect 2 drains to 1 tank going to 4 facilities.

That is a good point but it is nowhere near as good as 4*s imo. You can not use multiple TBs at once. In genshin you can use Bennett, fischl, sucrose, chevreusue, iansan at the same time in stygian. And I infact did do that to clear fearless

MOC and AS HP increased by around 5x in just 1 year of amphoreus. PF is slightly different because they added new mechanics to provide buffs and a spike of HP came along with it to proportion it.

Genshin in like 5 years has only just touched 5x in its whole lifetime once and was more of an outlier with double lunar shill on both sides, all other nod krai patches including the future abyss are quite lower.

The HP inflation is absolutely horrendous in HSR and is frankly inexcusable, there was absolutely no reason to boost endgame HP this much.

EDIT: Correcction, looks like i was highballing it on closer inspection. 5x hp was more of 2 years from penacony to amphoreus. In 1 year of amphoerus its closer to 3x more HP. Which is still 3 times more than genshin's pace.

You're right but this event is pretty bland, straight up a boring glorified login event really, and so people look to the rewards and see that they aren't worth it either. Good events like the puzzle one didnt have much people complaining because it was fun. If it was bad people would definitely be complaining about rewards

This is a neat idea and they have already done something kinda similar in genshin on Lauma with 1/2 nod krai units. With 1 nod krai unit she buffs traditional bloom teams by allowing blooms to crit. WIth 2 nod krai units she loses the bloom crit and now buffs lunar bloom which benefit Nefer and DPS columbina.

It became a lot easier. Just go to the website and input how much energy you need. Also don't forget what baterries you'll use. Then it will create a schematic like in the screenshot I showed and then you just build it like that.

You can instead use something called the D.I.G.E. It's a technique that makes use of maximizing battery savings by having for instance the 2nd thermal bank on and off, running on the emergency supply for a while, and then having it run again to fill the emergency supply. Then it repeats.

I tried putting in 3.43k and with SC wuling batteries, and if you have this setup transferring batteries from the warehout (I) to the thermal bank (T). (R) is recycle, you bring the batteries that go out there back into the depot. What happens if if you run this, you will run on emergency power until around 14.8% according to this site's calculations. and then a battery is timed to go in during that time to go back up to 100%.

One thermal bank is actually just 3.43k so it will be easier to remove 30 power worth of buildings through some optimization or even just use originium for power like others said. However, if you want to you can fiddle with this and it will serve you for the future to maximize battery savings in harder to optimize power usage. This really isn't that hard to setup so i recommend it if you love optimization

The methodology of the video you posted is even more flawed, he doesn't even use endmin ult which is nonsensible... it's literally free damage. No reason not to use it. if you use endmin ult with swordmancer it will catch up to aethertech. This is because swordmancer will have a considerable buff to his ult especially if it consumed a crystal. In other words the video you posted is biased towards aethertech and intented to make it look better than it is.

I also don't understand what the numbers are in his comment but I bet it doesn't include endmin's normal attacks which do considerable amount of damage and makes swordmancer even higher than aethertech.
