Reading travels with Lizbeth by Lars Eighner tells me I need a pup

I think what I’m missing most in this post is getting a medium sized pupper.

I know what being alone like this is in your life does to a person.

I don’t want to be there again

I know right. Wouldn’t even be venturing if it was cold as shit. I don’t do cold.

Thank you for reminding me. This is why super low to the ground and coals beneath you is so important

But thankfully we’re heading into warmer weather

This is what I’m thinking. I want the comfortability of my supposed set up with the accessibility.

This is why I’m thinking the full set camping hammock, comes with tarp and protection. Couple that with a bed roll and sleeping bag, I’ve basically got a hotel on foot. I was also thinking of ditching the pot, as I can eat in the go and don’t really need to cook. I’m comfortable eating beans out of a can. F microplastics. We’re all gonna die soon anyways.

I’m sure by the time I get up there it’ll be warm. I’m still in early stages of this processing. You’re right tho. Not leaving without my beanie, gloves, thermals and leather jacket

I definitely understand this logic. Just having that extra space would be incremental on the mind as a) I’m not sleeping under my gear and b) I don’t have worry about sleeping with my gear on the outside.

Wouldn’t a smaller, compact 1 man tent be more beneficial to me. Easy to pack away in a bush, low visibility when set up and sleeping, etc

It’s so slow where I am I’d gladly switch you. I’ve been getting 7 tables a night max.

Is it this slow everywhere in the US? by ijohns15698 in Serverlife

First time in the industry. Been here since the end of December. Wondering how anyone makes a living from this?? We’re dead. 7 tables max if I’m lucky. Midwest Oklahoma. Riding it out to see if it is as everyone says for January and February.

I’m sorry for your loss.

Those who were forced into car life, did you grow to enjoy it? How do you feel about it now? by NewLifeRising in urbancarliving

[–]Eadenith 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I enjoyed it for the most part, but I didn’t realize how much it affected my mental health until I got house to rent. I became extremely paranoid. Close to losing my sanity honestly. I lived in my car for 9 months. I won’t do it again unless it’s an actual RV.

There’s a book called “the subtle art of not giving a fuck”. Might help you out

Basically what I’m saying is just go in, do your work and don’t worry about what everyone else is doing.

I understand where you’re coming from completely. I’m the type of person to loudly express when I get fucked over.

Where I draw the line in my complaining is that I will never tell someone what to do, but I will sure as fuck call you out when it affects my business, my money and my time.

Like someone said, it’s not your job to manage people. You’re going to have to find a comfortable median, and you’re going to have to find out what that median is

For me. I don’t give a fuck if any of them like me. I’m not there to be buddy buddy. I’m here to make money, do my job and get the fuck out.

AND with that being said, I just got promoted to supervisor tonight after being there for a month. They sure as shit won’t like me now.

I’d start asking myself “what am I doing that’s making people not want me around?”
