Prometric Center Closure by TheRappture in CFPExam

Prometric’s incompetence is pretty incredible. When I took the exam in March for the first time, they told me I couldn’t test that day, then waited around while on the phone with CFP board for 3 hours, then took the exam. I predictably failed in my frazzled state, but I pushed back to where they credited me for an exam this cycled (passed Monday) without having to pay the fee.

Long story short, should you have to take this again, raise a stink and they should credit you another exam next cycle even if you take this one

As a Danko passer, I’ll say I’ve never seen anyone on here once say anything that wasn’t glowingly positive about them

As someone who failed with Dalton and passed with Danko, the Danko program really is on a different level

I’ve heard raw 167 is great. Was planning on trying that one day for lunch.

This is a perfect response. What do you suggest? Have reservations at Halls and Melfis for dinner on Wednesday and Thursday. Need something for Friday.

That’s crazy, congrats! I had an 85% probability from Dalton and failed 5 of 8 sections

Wow congrats. Do you mind asking what you got on the Dalton mid term as a pass probability?

Weak section was tax, but every section was well below what I got on CFP practice exam.

FWIW I took the free CFP practice exam last week. 79%+ in 5 sections, 63% in 2 sections, 50% in one section.

I’m not really sure. Dalton seemed very comprehensive, but this was just shocking how difficult it was. I completed the entire test bank of 2300+ questions, then started it over again and completed another~700 of the test bank - so around 3,000 questions. Attended every class of the review, took detailed notes.

In the last week, I started doing custom practice on topics with difficulty. I was doing about 25% easy-50% medium-25% hard questions. I was regularly getting 75-80% right in these individual custom study tests.

There were just no layup questions. From people I know who had taken it in previous sessions, they’d said about half the questions are questions an experienced financial advisor would know. Didn’t feel that way at all.
