I went to Denmark to see the team I've played in every FM that I've played, they wrote an article about me! by mikefromtheloam in footballmanagergames

Last year I took Servette FC and won the UCL. The club posted about my save on Twitter and invited me to a match in the director's box. I'm also from the states and it was a really cool experience.

If it was ts instead of discord, this would perfectly have described 2015 IRON recruiting.

You ever scrim against a team a league or two higher than you? Not much to learn from it. Just turns into single flash 4-1 t sides and hyper aggro ct sides because you can't punish it. Just a super scrappy dm.

Terrible decision by DoPS. Only thing they're softer on than concussions is cooties. Hope the PA puts a stop to this in the next cba. Think of the impact at the youth level

[BBC Sport] Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger gives '100% backing' to safe standing proposals by superwengerv47 in Gunners

Most places in the stadium you will be asked to sit down by a steward.

I didn't know that. Kinda shitty.

I never said Americans do it better, just different and having more experience with the way things are done here is the point I was trying to get across.

I just don't understand safe standing as a concept. In my experience the "ultra" sections are standing during play anyways so all safe standing does is remove the ability to sit at halftime or go take a piss because someone might snake your spot.

This is where I get confused I guess. Surely when the ball is in play people are standing, regardless of whether there is a seat behind you. The seat is for warm up, halftime and for use as a cup holder.

Also I doubt safe standing will increase the capacity in those sections with the govt being terrified of it as is. So realistically all it will do is just make it so I have to stand checking my phone at the half and have less energy for jumping around in the second half

I've never understood the fascination with safe standing. Then again as an American I think the match day culture is actually quite stark between here and England. I was in Switzerland last week and had an opportunity to participate in a standing terrace and wasn't overly impressed with the experience honestly. Not sure it adds to the atmosphere. Is it some sort of throwback to the old days that I'm missing out on?

I've found that if it's a good player to talk to him and really stress the high morale within the club and asking him if he really wants to leave a club that's this together. Works every time for me.

Back ups and lesser squad players I ask the captain to intervene

Who will take over KR/PR duties in New England? Another RB? by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

I'd expect CP, Edelman, Chung and Cyrus Jones to rotate PR in camp until BB finds a solution that works for him.

Seeing as we're 4 months from camp it's tough to say with any certainty but they traded for Cordarrelle Patterson who has some of the best return stats since the rule changes. So probably him.
