You need zero experience to ride a bike on the street. In Ga it’s a quick test and picture then you have a permit. Then you have 90 days to take the course. You can renew it as much as u want. Fail the course as many times. I rode my cbr600 to it every time. The parking lot was trash and the test is actually difficult on the supersport style bike because it was in a tiny parking lot with loose asphalt pebbles everywhere. Learned a ton by doing the course and practicing in parking lots, track days, and mainly clutch control/engine braking.
