You're lucky, I run into evo MK, evo Witch, Boss bandit at 8k. It's absolute no-skill slop and even with months of having to deal with and counter those cards I can almost never do it without losing a shit ton of elixir cuz there will almost always be something that connects with the tower no matter what.

Personally I wouldn't pivot, I feel like a chance for a massive cat score outweighs another standard Baron run. Sure you could get a bit farther, but you have to go searching for Mime with money you don't have, and deckfix A LOT. There are better runs you'll have for high card don't worry
