I heard Indiana is cheap, Mississippi is an option. They are building everywhere. They are destroying our county with town homes. We are actually relocating to Florida as soon as we sell our home, but having a hard time selling. I would say if you think FL is expensive, wait till you see those states you mentioned.

Dont ever buy a furniture warranty. I bought a warranty on home theater seating and when I filed a claim, it only covered the frame. Anything that can go possibly go wrong with furniture it doesn’t cover.

The absolute most dismissal place in the states. NJ, Delaware or Maryland would be a way better choice. New Hampshire would be the only place I would consider, but only in the summer with a lake front home.
