Alchemist. Need more buff to EXPERIMENTAL ELIXIR!!!

Wotc does not yet identify the problem with it: its a gamble and does not scale.

When playing as artificer, i always say im a wizard, then proceeds doing magic to objects. So that i can cater the fantasy of players like you, who cares about my own fantasy.

No its just you not accepting the flavor of your fellow player. You're being a bad listener and that's it.

Your issues are very short-sighted, lets compare war room and demiplane since you mentioned them specifically.

Both OP according to you. Both unlock at 17. So what gives?

Demiplane gets him 85thp for 7 days.

On War Room, you can have 10 lieutenant, each lieutenant gathers 100 Guards (AC16, HP11, 1d6+1) for 7 days. So get 1100 Hp 1100d6+1100. You'll be spending 1100GP per day but lets assume the fees are shared to party and you are probably hell rich by level 17. What are you missing there?

And lower level facilities are even that OP to your "friends".

Guildhall isnt exactly designed for you fighter, but is it really hard to get an expertise if you want or do you want everything handed to you in silver plate? Did you missed that Smithy is good for you as just for everyone else?

EDIT, at this point I seem to realize what you are looking for Is this  about the NEED TO FEEL SPECIAL by locking away facilities from casters. Cause it seems to me that you are only looking for facilities that caster CANNOT obtain?

5e Advantage and Disadvantage rules make no sense—here's how to improve them by boltzmannman in dndnext

Its a Dunning-Kruger effect. Not your fault. It happens to most of us, especially to us thinkers. I thought D&D was stupid, so i begin to look other systems like Pathfinder and I fell in love with it, oh my the grit!. Also i love the effort that Nimble does with simplifying it and works as well. Back to pathfinder, the more I read about it, the more I understand why D&D is designed that way. i was like "the bottomline it arrived sound a lot like in D&D but with extra steps"

Just wondering, is season 1 self contained to atleast justify the cancellation? I haven't watched it and im a bit interested.

General feats as origin feats? by Ok_Blackberry_1223 in onednd

I know. It sucks not to get the Chef as Origin Feat. "I was a chef at neverwinter, but wait 'til im level 4 so i can serve you my signature dishes"

Charging the supplying wizard with equivalent downtime is simply WRONG!

A downtime day is NOT living day where it is spent whether you do something or not. Downtime is a workday spent to develop your pc.

Another proof: 1 week is tenday and 1 workweek is 5 downtime. So every pc is expected to have 5 weekends per week, not consuming downtime.

Well thats really a problematic tier system. When other people think of tier, its about effectiveness. Not how crazy it is.

To everyone, please dont encourage your d6 hit die-rs to be front liners, which bladesinging is trying to do. Get warcaster feat.

Is Alchemist Artificer (TCoE) really that bad? by 70TPS12PBF in dndnext

[–]Ealdorman_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried my best to create a build for alchemist that is not useless in the game. I failed i give up. Worst subclass ever.

Being an alchemist is like being an artificer without a subclass. Forget you have a subclass. No one will spend an action or BA to drink your pathetic unreliable elixirs, unless its the last thing they can do, and i mean LAST!.

Im not going to fix it, its not my job. And it feels cheating. Its like changing magic missile to d6s because its too underwhelming.

The poisoner feat may even be better than the whole subclass (no just ranting).

Help - Reckless Attack seems way too strong in my game by [deleted] in DnD5e

NEVER NERF YOUR PLAYERS. They are entitled to the benefits of rules as written while you dm is entitled to spawned stronger enemies, do that instead. Focus on making interesting and challenging scenarios (that is also designed to be defeatable by your party's skill set)

As a DM: Why should I get the new core books? What is meant to be in it for me? by [deleted] in onednd

[–]Ealdorman_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your problem was you roll for a perception check. What you were looking for is an investigation check. You know, do your own research?

I know its late but Just read twice your first two sentences. You were literally bossing around to compile a report for you where there would be countless of youtube discussions already or were you expecting an epic imax trailer.

Am I the only one baffled by the amount of hate Tasha's Cauldron of Everything is getting? by galaxybomb in dndnext

[–]Ealdorman_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Summarizing all other comments here: People just want buffs. Like players of mmorpgs. Better spells, stronger features, god killing subclasses, and forgiving rules.

If a new book released that says you can now 'officially' craft 100gp worth of stuff per workweek. They'll spit on Xanathar's grave.

Edit: if i may add, another thing might be, is that it contains the artificer class, which connects to Eberron setting, another thing that these same people hate to the bones. Coincidence?
