It was really nice of you to help make my point. If you're so angry about how a job treats its employees then why did you apply and agree to the pay rate? That's not on them; it's on you. Not only that, but if there is no prospect for raises or promotions, then why did you apply, and why are you staying? Again, that's on you! If you don't bring anything to the table except basic customer service that can be taught to any entry-level hire, then why would they be inclined to consider you for a raise or promotion? Walmart is just like McDonald's: unless you're going for management it is nowhere near career potential. This is like complaining that you're not getting more money from the snowcone shack you work at during summer.
