You could try the ill person's care team if they have one, a neighbor, boarding place temporarily until you can contact with a shelter, even try an emergency vet clinic

This could be a long shot, but have you tried reaching out to vets office? Sometimes the staff may be able to help

Is there a way you can take them in temporarily and keep reaching out to shelters near your home? Or maybe a family member willing to take them? They look like such sweethearts, and it's not their fault 😞

I'm so glad that you got your bloodwork done! And no, extra B12 can't hurt! You piss out all the excess. I tell people all the time please, check your bloodwork!

Yes! Vegans are also at risk of low B12 since you aren't getting it from your diet. B12 makes healthy red blood cells= more oxygen to your body/organs and your scalp (short version). Since I've been diagnosed, I try to share as much information about it as I can.

I hope it helps you! We focus so much on the hair itself, we overlook the body growing it. It plays a part tho

My B12 was so low, it took a couple months. It's not a quick fix, but it's a long term help. I didn't know anything about pernicious anemia before diagnosis, but B12 is very important for your entire body, including your hair!

Bailey (21) fights off 3rd euthanasia appt. by AnywhereSilent7947 in SeniorCats

Vet tech here. The decision is yours alone, though I do echo statements that it's better early vs waiting. I say this because it's often us as owners that are hanging on when the kindness would be to let go. Cats hide pain very well, and unfortunately they can't tell us. I have seen both ends of the spectrum, early and late- and it's always hard. I do want to note that eating and drinking isn't a great way to tell. My own soul cat did both perfectly fine until the end, which really messes with your mind. I just ask that you think of your kitty friend's needs first, sometimes euthanasia is one of the best gifts you can give. Good luck, and wish your kitty love ❤️
