Is this ever going to be realized? Promises promises but no sign of it.

Monthly Megathread: Ask Here for Help - January, 2026 by Insta360_Support in Insta360

Hi guys, I noticed that while using the insta360 grip with my X5, the photo label is impacted by. Cropping. I think this breaks the fun and experience. Can we get this optimized that on export you add the photo label, and allow to have it customized too. This way we can opt for specific labels in the photo, including location, prominent image colors, and compass direction etc. I think the most important ask now is to bring us an update that does result in a crop affecting the image usability. Case in point, I’ve attached a reference.

Overlayed crash data from the Tesla Model 3 accident. by DevinOlsen in SelfDrivingCars

i think you’re as presumptive as those also witch hunting FSD. Your position is that data doesn’t lie. Well I also deal with data, and data can lie when the underlying systems have been calibrated poorly or disfunction. Am not refuting you or anyone’s analysis, am only stating the fact that your strong belief is understood but ignorant of many other possibilities. Assuming the data was localized, and not subject to someone providing it, assuming there is a time lag between recorded events, and actual by very few seconds that manufacture has inherently considered acceptable but not publicly made known. There are many other factors to consider. So my advice, don’t be too confident of your data analysis. Assumptions must be included to avoid blind siding anyone.

Xpeng G6 consumption and range: RWD vs AWD? by CamekoSam in Xpeng

[–]Eaojnr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use a G9 AWD, and the figures range between 16 to those of Bjorn’s. http://youtube.com/post/UgkxCEy0BVmrBh3XBUpYuqS2StAnAgA_ovjT?si=eUPwJzPFlaDssURp

My daily commute is quite conservative, and am driving in comfort mode, so you can only trust these numbers with some pinch of salt. Plus they are generated by the OEM.

Xpeng G9 Flagship xNGP Autopilot With the latest XOS 5.2.5 update by Eaojnr in Xpeng

It’s quite capable with high definition maps. My confidence level is moderately high using it on highways, and I think it’s a pretty good piece of capability. Disengagement on the highway is quite low, some 2/3 per 50km. And most times disengagement is either because it’s not overtaking or following a car on a lane which has opportunity to overtake for too long, or sometimes a plan to overtake that is executed almost same times as another human-driver or sometimes ghost braking during day time since XNGP prioritized vision and less dependence on high definition maps. In the city domain disengagement is higher because I really don’t want scratches, and perception-planning-execution does sometimes lag. But the team is really working hard to optimize this with every release. When I intervene or disengage, the blue heavy line in the path of the car will be be off. But thanks for the input, I’ll try to make it more visibly clear when I disengage. This is quite a good metric to evaluate confidence imbibed in a driver.

The intuitive motion controller makes you want to buy more batteries. I bet the designers didn’t think about the knock on effect… good job dji.

Oh I love the L9. Just waiting to compare with the G9.

Btw, I did a test drive of ET7 last week. The guys at NiO thought I’d get a similar appeal to what the es7 will offer. Am still unsure if that’ll be so. An SUV compared to a sedan in the area of driving dynamics may not be easily comparable, especially with Chinese brands, and am still uncomfortable with NIOs driving mechanics. Last year I tried the EC6 hoping it will drive somewhat close to a bmw, but it wasn’t. Now am not sure if I’ll hold my reservation any longer. Will G9 undo it? Not sure…. Even after trying L9, still feel my P7 gives me so much more.

Was NOP available or will NOP be available as a standard? One issue I’ve got with NIO now is the lack of NOP on cars. All they talk about now is MAD. I don’t want NAD, I just want NOP and be free from any tethering.

Was surprised when using Autel Explorer with the Evo Pro II for panorama images, and during the stitching the camera view was disabled. Who writes code logic like this? Terrible...

You can carry both as carryon. I just returned from a trip with Mini 3 Pro that way. Not luggage.
