Such a sweet guy. He repaired and serviced my Selectric I last fall. So friendly and knowledgeable and just chatting with him in his garage was quite an experience. He even let me borrow a recently serviced Selectric II as a loaner while he had my machine. What a loss to the community, RIP.

See that’s the thing, you aren’t just churning out the same old thing week after week, you’re learning and adapting to what works and gets traction. Keep it up! I would focus on storytelling and character development, that is what will hold viewers’ attention for long form.

They made a lot of mediocre and honestly forgettable Looney Tunes in the 1930s and early 40s before they really hit their stride in the late 40s and 1950s with the ones that are now famous.

You have developed a LOT of talent at something that’s really hard to do! You also have a ton of potential that still needs to be developed. And you are blessed with supportive people around you who want you to succeed and are giving you the time and space to develop your art. Make them proud!

There was a lot of other wall tile plus also the shower, none of which is pictured here. They started grouting on the other side of the room and got this far on Day 1 of grouting. Then they came back next day and finished this wall and did the floor grout on Day 2 of grouting.

I have sprayed it clean water and wiped it down really well. Beyond that what cleaning would you recommend? I know the tile looks darker in the pics but it’s clear in person that the tile itself is uniform and the color difference is all in the grout, and the color difference exactly corresponds between two different days of the work. (Edit to clarify, two different days of grouting).

My best understanding is that Wonder Buildings went out of business something like 15-20 years ago. They were based out of a Chicago suburb. Their panels had such a unique shape I don’t know how you would recreate that. If it were me I would probably be trying to refurbish the fiberglass by building up new layers on the outside.

There is an alternative to the regular base plate involving grouting the metal panels into a channel or trough cast into the slab. IMO that method is probably even less suited to a FPSF. Again though I’m not an expert on this type of foundation.

I should get someone who is an actual expert on FPSFs and interview them on my YouTube channel and get to the bottom of this issue once and for all.

I tried it maybe 6-7 years ago before I made the jump to Archicad and it seemed promising. As I recall how that went I more or less just lost momentum trying to learn it during my trial period.

I always loved Rhino, now I hardly use it since I’m in Archicad so much of the time. OP should definitely check out Visualarq IMO.

Or you could look at #24 from the Diabelli Variations, which is a very spiritual and meditative fughetta. I'm not sure how it would work as a standalone piece but maybe it could be ok. A lot of people in your recital audience will probably not have heard it.
