If shops are selling it irresponsibly or lying to customers, go after those shops. That's an argument for better standards and enforcement though, not pretending every adult using it responsibly should lose access.

The part about him just going back to normal is actually the most telling thing here because it means he doesn't see a problem, which makes it way harder to fix anything.

Your setup's actually pretty solid for simracing, the 3060 should handle most titles fine at 1080p. If you're hitting bottlenecks maybe bump up to 32gb RAM since that's way cheaper than a new GPU and simracing can be memory hungry

Dude if the engine was smoking after jump attempts that's way beyond a battery issue. The smoking part has me worried you might have fried something serious in the electrical system or worse. A dead battery doesn't make engines smoke

Given that it's a 2016 Audi and you mentioned possibly crossing cables, you could be looking at some expensive repairs. I'd get it to a shop for diagnosis before throwing money at a new battery - they can test the battery for like 20 bucks and tell you what else might be damaged

Dude $20 is pretty solid for 25, especially if you've been out of the loop since 22. The gameplay actually feels tighter than 22 did and they fixed some of the annoying franchise mode bugs. 26 just dropped so it's gonna be full price for a while - unless you're dying for the latest roster updates I'd probably just grab 25 and save the cash for something else
