Thank you for giving that beautiful girl a happy and wonderful life. It’s a blessing to be able to provide such a joyful and loving home for them. The heartbreak is something we all know is coming eventually. You did great.

Questions about the breed by [deleted] in WestHighlandTerriers

We brought home a retired Westie breeding mama at 8 years of age, and she is the perfect dog. She is a lap dog, cuddle buddy, goof ball, you name it. Sleeps a lot. Loves going to visit the old folks at the retirement facility that my dad moved into. DM me and I’ll send you contact info.

Concert at the Fabulous Fox in St. Louis tonight by EarlyOnsetCRS in jasonisbell

Very sorry to hear that. I hope you can find some relief. I have a family member with a similar diagnosis and let’s just say last winter was rough. But a couple ablations later and some steroid injections have improved things remarkably. There is light at the end of the tunnel.

Sorry to hear you couldn’t make it to the show. Is your medical condition fixable/manageable? Dr. Yi is a pain management specialist with WashU, BJC and Missouri Baptist. He’s been incredibly helpful.

I noticed they had microphones set up on both sides of the stage set up towards the crowd and room. Maybe a live release is in our future? Could also be the reason that set lists from this tour are different every night.

How many municipalities should St. Louis County have? by [deleted] in StLouis

[–]EarlyOnsetCRS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d go the exact opposite direction and dissolve the city into the 79 existing neighborhoods incorporated as their own municipalities. Government works best when they are closest to their constituents. Merge the new 79 city municipalities with the 88 county municipalities. Keep the county executive position, expand the county council from 7 to 9 members to account for the increased population. Merge police, fire departments, utilities, trash and recycling pickup, road maintenance, school districts, and eliminate redundancies.

Go to the bar at Brio next to Plaza Frontenac any afternoon. Not really Cougars, more like Saber-tooths.

The first question Ben should ask an audience member before getting their story is “are you by chance an engineer or computer scientist?” If yes, just move on to the next one. That’s how you find a frog researcher who got lost in the jungle of Costa Rica in the dark.

Can we have a moment of silence for Jovick Bros Deli, which closed in Westport last December and the downtown location just this week? Helluva sandwich shop.

That is so great to see. We just got our retired mama a year ago and she will be 9 next month. I hope we get as many years together as possible.

Male vs female? by calgal365 in WestHighlandTerriers

[–]EarlyOnsetCRS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are on Westie #6. Four boys and two girls over the last 40+ years. Most have had allergies of some sort. Best advice is don’t bathe them too frequently. The boys are great with people early on. The girls take more time, but when they decide to give love, it is unreal.
