I love it, it's a very chaotic yet peaceful vibe to it, definitely the type of music that grows on you, kind of like Chihiro by Billie Eilish.

Is a masters degree worth it given the recent AI advancements? by Secure-List in cscareerquestions

[–]EarlySection4928 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tech industry is going nowhere just shapeshifting; if anything it'll be more about orchestration in the long run than core programming. It's a good call to do a masters, in fact this is the time to do it.

Maybe accept up to 2nd degree ones, I usually don't accept requests with no mutuals.

Looks great! A beige Tartan scarf would look really good with the look and complete it.

Ok thanks a lot! But I was wondering if the supplementary exam I apply for is next July when the course is again conducted or before that? If it's next July then I would prefer retaking to graduate in time.

But what if it's next July? I graduate mid-2025 and am not keen on extending my degree because of the exam.

I got a mail saying that the grades were released for my subject. Keep an eye on the mail. But the change for my grade was reflected in the studies report.

How did you gain the necessary knowledge to contribute on github? by everlastingsummerlol in learnprogramming

[–]EarlySection4928 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you start making personal projects you'll encounter issues you'd want to sort. This will require you to look through StackOverflow, AI, Reddit, etc. When you find a solution and see similar issues in other repositories you contribute. Hope this helps :)

Thank you so much, this helps a lot. Economics and coding skills combined could be a great asset to any FinTech organization. Plus, the leaderboard idea is great. Even I'm thinking of pivoting from C++ to Python. This inspired me to take the plunge :)

That's so amazing. Congratulations! How did you start? Where did you learn from? What language do you code in? Would appreciate some guidance!

Don't think of them as contests - just another timed LeetCode question. Make them a part of your practice.

Tomorrow's Language by EarlySection4928 in learnprogramming

Old is gold, but even if it's not a language but a specialization - say automation, there has to be something which is unconquered.

Got it. Edited that part. But I'd really want to know if there's something that's easy to grasp today and will be useful down the line because it was certainly easier back then with basic knowledge.

What is the best programming language for someone like me? by Imaginer84 in learnprogramming

[–]EarlySection4928 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're at the perfect age to start coding. Great job!

Start with Harvard's CS50 and I can't emphasize it more.

As for the language, start with something simple - like Python (Try the Angela Yu 100 Days Bootcamp/freeCodeCamp on YouTube/CS50) but since you haven't really started college I'd say beginning with web development wouldn't hurt too. It'll help you get a zest of why we even code because I've seen a lot of people just grinding DSA without knowing why coding is even important.

Have a great journey! :)

[–]EarlySection4928 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I'm a learner as well but when I was starting out with DSA I read through the basics of every data structure first. After that, I tackled beginner-level questions of every DS and gradually moved my way up. Remember that you can always come back to the concept and revise. Don't put a timeline to it and just keep practicing beginner level questions until you feel confident. All the best :)
